| No, leave Item Clause on the rules list | 2 | 22.22% | |
| Yes, take Item Clause off the rules list | 4 | 44.44% | |
| Leave Item Clause, but make modifications to it (specify said mods in a post) | 3 | 33.33% |

Keep in mind, guys, that on the actual poll, 2 means Take Off Item Clause. I flipped the two around in the poll.
Anyways. The reason why I voted to (and originally added) Item Clause was because people can use certain items commonly, like Shadow stated, BUT it can get out of hand. For example, one might equip a whole team of FEARS with... well... Focus Sashes. Something like that would be really broken. I MODIFIED the Item Clause so that you could use items with similar uses in the tourney rule. The main reason the Item Clause exists is to prevent certain items from being spammed, so I put it into effect. Since people questioned it though, I put it to a poll. |
While I agree on the similar items thing, I also think that berries are okay to have on more than one Pokémon, since berries are generally not used as much.
Also, should we ban certain items from the tourney? Soul Dew I know for a fact is out, but what about other things like the Adamant/Lustrous/Griseous Orbs? They do mostly the same thing, but for Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, respectively.

Maybe I do maybe I don't. ;O But I know that a few people do...

If I did that, then there'd still be an item law in effect, it'd just say "No using TWO of the same item" instead of one.
Come to think of it, that sounds good. I'll establish that law as a modified version of the Item Clause, called Doubles Item Clause. This is a Doubles tourney so I guess it fits.
Well I guess that's true. It won't be simple to work around, but I think I can still make a kick-butt team despite this rule!
EDIT: I'm going to stop being a whiny punk now, this rule makes alot of sense considering it's in Double Battle format. Plus Leftovers aren't as great in Dobule Battles anyway.
