I'm thirteen. I started with Sapphire when I was 5 because my older brother bought the game at that time. : P
But after I really got into the Pokemon fandom I started to play the rest and now I have at least one game from each generation... except the first, because I lost Blue ;____;
1 – GalliumGrantMaybe the poll should've asked for year of birth so that the results wouldn't become obsolete a year later.
I'm 18.
3 – Quadcentruo, zsaberslash, GalliumGrantWhat an interesting graph. Seems that those that make it to their 20s pretty much stick. I'm 24 and within less than 2 months I'll be 25, and while the anime is hard to keep up with, I watch the movies, play the games, browse fanart and music, and do resets for good IVs. I've also attended one online competition to date, and did rather bad. XD I intend to attend more, and I don't expect to lose interest anytime soon. ![]()
1 – GalliumGrantI was started video games at the gameboy generations with pokemon of Nintendo and also played lots of GameCube so when I see younger kids I know use wireless connection I put on a old man voice and say " back in my day, if you wanted to play with yer friends you need link cables!" XD
Huh, a stickied thread in the Pokémon section that I haven't seen yet Weird.
Also, ironically enough, I'm 18 now and started playing Pokémon at, let's see, 16. I was getting into Pokémon when basically everyone I knew at school was finishing getting out of it. But, that's what they invented the Internet for, I guess.
1 – ReuniclusI remember when I first responded to this thread when I was 13 years old. I'll be 18 years old in less than 2 months...time sure passes so quickly...
1 – Dragonite25, I started playing seriously when I was 19, but I was fan of the mons since I was 10 when the series started showing in my country unfortunately I did not have a chance to get a GB to play the game back then. The best thing about Pokémon is that being such a complete and challenging game it is always fun to play, not matter your age.
At age 28, I'm probably one of the oldest Pokemon fans here on VR. I started playing Pokemon at age 21, when a friend gave me Diamond and Pearl. At the time, he didn't have a DS, but he knew I had one, so... free copies of Diamond and Pearl. ![]()
Of course, I've since expanded my library of Pokemon games, ranging from Gold and Silver to Black 2 and White 2. However, I still need to get my hands on the first generation (Red, Blue, and Yellow) and third generation (Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald) to further complete my collection.
I started playing when I was about 6 or 7 with Red Version being my first. I am 23 now.
