hmm, I don't really think its in New York, I think it might be somewhere else, unless you are talking about the region is based off the City then you might be wrong there, last time I've checked Manhattan doesn't have a lake there, Oh did I mention the Isshu is a region not a city, you can't really say unless you check a map with being nearly the same landmass, I'm sorry but this is my opinion on these things about your discovery.

I don't understand that the big deal is... Does it matter than the new setting is New York? If it does turn out to be true, that'll be a little saddening. Sept 12 comes after the anniversary of Sept 11. It's a little... I don't know. It's kind of a low blow.

Thread unlocked because Pokébeach just approved Pokémon Peer to be an official source. Therefore, what's mentioned about the Isshu region being based on New York is more than likely true. Also, we'll be getting more background information about this when the magazine comes out on Friday (i.e, tomorrow) in Japan.
The magezine hasn't even come out yet Shadow, I'm going to have to repeat and remind you it was fake.
The entire thing was created by members of tch supporting Isshu being based off New York so they made this even if pokebeach was an official source what he's interpretting seems more like he's just supporting it.

Pokébeach already got a copy of Pokémon Peer. The magazine confirms that the entire Isshu region is based on New York, and that the inspiration behind the Sky Arrow Bridge was the Brooklyn Bridge. There's no doubt that the magazine is an official source, as it has been accepted by both Serebii and Pokébeach a good while ago.
Iwata Asks and Masuda are talking about NYC here's the link:
