Yeah, that is from Harry Potter, but I couldn't find a better title anyway. So from the title, you should already guess what the topic is his time; Snakes! I couldn't find more interesting animals than snakes, so here are 4 pictures for you to rate and criticize.

I didn't focus much on this one. I started it to get the basic knowledge of snakes. I like its pose, but I wonder if a real snake can do that anyway. I didn't pay attention on shading it as I was in a hurry. I just left it like that.

I focused on this one unlike the previous one. I quite love this snake. Everyone worked well, including both the pose and the shading. The only problem was that while drawing, I lost where its body should be.

Another good drawn picture. It was the hardest to draw, honestly. The scales were too annoying to draw. They took a lot of time.

I know that my pictures are always serious, so I decided to make it more cartoon-ish. Simply, I didn't like it, and I will never draw cartoon-ish pictures in the time being.

The second and third drawings are very amazing. The others are not as good, especially the last one.

I can see that your artwork is improving. Good job!

(Also, you don't need to have such a silly title )

The title is the best thing.

I also agree with you about the last one. I don't like it.

They're all pretty good except for the last one.
I really like the second one.

No.... I am the Heir of Slytherin! >:3

My favorite right now is the 2nd one, even though the pose for a real snake would be a little painful when it started to uncoil.

Snakes aren't that hard, trust me.

You have to prove that you are the heir. I don't really understand what you mean by "a little painful".

Hm. How can I explain...? Well, if you start at the head, the snake goes up and over the branch. It looks like the coil wraps around and is the biggest part of the snake (middle coil). Then it coils (up) over the branch again, making the furthest coil on the left the last branch. It looks like there's an extra coil. If you'll allow me to borrow your picture, I can show you what I mean if this is confusing.

It is hard to explain how the snake was wrapping, but I reassure you that I drew it by looking at a picture of a snake. Another thing is that there is a hidden movement behind the branch. I understood what you mean by the additional coil, but because of the hidden movement, this additional coil was there.

=P It still bothers me. Haha.
