What Type Combinations do you want to see in Gen 5 or later? Personally, I'd like:

• Ghost-Normal: Gets rid of Ghost weakness and Fighting Weakness, leaving only Dark types super effective.
• Grass-Steel: Double weak to fire and still weak to Fighting, but gets rid of Steel's weakness to Ground and most of Grass's Weaknesses.
• Ice-Dragon: Basically the ultimate Dragon Killer. Still weak to Dragon though resistant to Ice, picks up weaknesses to Fighting, Steel and Rock but loses weakness to Fire.
• Grass-Electric: We NEED more Electric Dual-Types. Grass would get rid of Electric's Ground weakness, and Electric gets rid of the Grass Flying weakness
• Fighting-Flying: Hey, it's the only thing that HASN'T been paired with Flying, so I say wynaut?

Ghost Fighting of course! You pretty much get a sweeper that has unresistant STAB attacks. Sounds pretty vicious to me.

Fire/Grass or Fire/water. It would just be cool to have pokemon like that. The fire/grass pokemon would also be exceptional during Sunny Day.

Ghost/Steel... Because it would be cool.

Two people posted it already, but I do like Steel/Ghost Pokémon. As a steel gym leader, I would love to see a Steel/Ghost Pokémon with Levitate. It will be only weak to fire.

I really want to see Fighting/Flying right now. I think it's kind of silly that the new eagle Pokémon (Wooguru?) wasn't that typing. We have too many Normal/Flying as is. :/

Since the new pokemon ideas thread got closed since it was too much like this one, I'm going to re-post the ideas I had there and open up discussion for any pokemon concepts you have.

I want to see a Fire-Water type. The first one would have a choice between a water based ability and a fire based ability, like Flame Body or Damp, but the second one would either have Drought or Drizzle, working either way as a weather pokemon.

I want to see a Fire-Grass Pokemon shaped like a chili pepper.

I want to see a pure Water type that's a proper Bottle-Nosed Dolphin.

I want to see a fully evolved pure dragon, maybe an Eevee or Dunsparce Evolution.

I want to see a Flying Fighting type. I have no idea what it would look like, but it would be cool.

I want to see a pure Flying type that isn't a bird at all, more of a Wind Spirit so it fits the pure flying type.

I'd like to see a Fire-Psychic type that is a flame. Not a Flaming animal, an actual fire, contained in some sort of jewel, perhaps.

I'd like to see a flying fish pokemon, or maybe a land based fish pokemon.

I'd like to see an Ice-Dragon or Dark-Dragon.

I would like to see a dark/dragon and a dark/psychic its only real weakness is bug, but i could live with that

Imagine how weak a Grass and Dragon would be up against an ice type...

But I'd like to see either Fire/Water/Grass and Dragon types.

Fire and water type combination XD just kidding, maybe.....grass/ground type combination?

I agree with Sableyed, I'd like to see an ice dragon type. It would probably look pretty awesome.

Srsly, I hope Desukan is a Ghost/Steel. We've seen Pokémon with weird types in them, so I could see this happening. o3o

Also, I forgot if I said this before, but Ghost/Fire. Also, Ghost/Water. >.o Like the ancient Water-dwelling spirits.

Ground/Ghost: Marowak's Grim Reaper Evolution
Flying/Fighting: Farfetch'd's Warrior Evolution
Fire/Ice: Kind of like a Twinrova thing (LoZ)
Fire/Water: Steam Pokemon (Moves like mist, haze, mist ball, smog, etc.)
Electric/Poison: Pollution Pokemon. Could teach the kids about the environment.

I want this typing sooooooooooo badly. Immune to Fighting, Ghost, and Normal. This would make it the only Pokemon that would be immune to both Fighting-type moves and Ghost-type moves at the same time without the help of an ability. Plus, only one weakness is good (Dark).

I'd like to see a Jack-O-Lantern pokemon, Fire and Ghost. Gains Ground and Water weakness. And for the sake of competitive battaling, Fire and Grass. Don't forget Cloriphlly :devil:

Fire/Water is actually awesome. It will resist a lot and be superior.

I would like to see Elemental Dragons, Fire/Dragon (Reshiram), Electric/Dragon (Zekrom), all we need is another in the trio (like Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina), a Water/Dragon.

Poison/Dragon

Sounds strange, but I actully like this idea. Could be like a Viper Dragon. I think with levitate, this would be a brill combo. Only weak to Ice, Dragon and Psychic, which works for me.

Lots of people said Fire/Water. But I still want.

Electric/Fire and Electric/Dark would be pretty cool.

How bout Grass/Fire, Rock/Fire, Dark/Poison, and Dragon/Ice

Bug/Ice - Very weak to Fire and Rock, but Bug would balance Ice's weakness to Fighting, and Flying types would feel threatened

Fighting/Electric (with Levitate) - Electric would balance Fighting's weakness to Flying, with Levitate it would be unaffected by Ground, and the only thing super effective against it would be psychic. I have no idea what it would resemble, but it would be cool.

Ice/Ghost - Ghost would eliminate Ice's weakness to Fighting.

Fighting/Dragon - This would be such a cool combination. Ice types would still be effective but would definitely feel threatened by Fighting type.

-I'd also appreciate getting Water/Electric Pokémon which, unlike Lanturn, has a good movepool as well as stats.

I say there should be a poison/ice type

I bet they (being Game Freak) could make a cool looking Pokemon for that type.
