Who plays Team Fortress 2? It's one of the best online multiplayer shooters I've ever seen, and is a nice break from total deathmatches. I usually play on a 2fort Payload server or a Badlands Arena server, and it's a ton of fun. Most of my play time is with the Spy, which I use a lot during Payload. What do you guys think of the game?
I have this game and like 120 hours or so on it.
You guys seen the current Demoman Vs. Soldier war? It's awesome, whatever class gets the most kills of the other class gets a secret weapon.

Sorry for a double post, But I think I should post a little update.

It hints at the update for the Engineer, as well as an entertaining comic to read.

It's coming out, the last of the Class specific updates...for now maybe...
@Ningamer
You can, but you need to make a .cfg for the joystick, and then edit controls to the configuration for you. If you have a 360 controller, you can download a file from the Steam TF2 support forums.
Really excited for the Engineer update because I play as him so much. The pistol replacement doesn't look to interesting unless you can use it from anywhere, but the shotgun replacement looks great. Haven't played a payload game yet, so I am hoping with the new maps I will be able to play them more. I hope they'll continue to give out Golden Wrenches, because me and my terrible luck will never get one.
Engineer is ok.
Heavy is the beast where I rock as him aslong I have medic, I rock.
Scout, I'll train on him more
Spy, training on his Electro sapper
Soilder, In training
Medic, I'm not used to him
Demoman, uhh no comment
Sniper, as long as I find a place to camp at, I'm ok
Pyro, In training
I'm trying to get used to Sniper, Pyro and Engineer.
This thread is also about hats
As of today I have 4-the Hustler's Hallmark, the Backbiter's Billycock, the Sergeant's Drill Helm, and the Vintage Tyrolean. I love them all.
In non-hat related news, I love this game. A lot. I play Demoman and Heavy and think I'm pretty good as both of them. The engineer update is pretty much my life at the moment
With the release of the Engineer update, I think they almost broke the class. Now every time I play on CP, the defending team is made up of about 6 engineers, and almost all of them spam wrangler. The mini-sentries are the ones they put up all over the cap point, so Scout rushing just became more difficult, and with these new players learning about engineers, almost none of them have learned about good placement of buildings.

It's always like that, your either on the good team, the bad team or it's always just stalemates...

Is there any webpage that shows out TF2 stats, or do we have to use HLStatsx?

You can go a person's steam profile, like http://steamcommunity.com/id/jaredvcxz/ , and look on their games list then click View Stats under the game listing. That'll give you a site like this: http://steamcommunity.com/id/jaredvcxz/stats/TF2 where you can see their stats, achievements, etc.

Talk has been about the Pollycount for the past few months, it seems we're coming closer to release.
There is also News on Payable Items Players could obtain.

If you need more Questions, that may help.
With the update coming close, this may mean a drastic change to TF2...but who knows.

I've been playing almost exclusively as Scout and Heavy. Scout because basically his only problem is living long, and Heavy because basically his only problem is he's slow and I make a good Medic buddy.
Also, what's Polycount? |
On the Subject on Classes...
I'm more prone to play Soldier, Scout, Engineer or Medic for Various Reasons.
Soldier: I can rack in a few kills in a couple of seconds.
Scout: I like feeling fast, going in for the quick kill, retreating to heal and stock up, then going back in.
Engineer: More Laid back if I feel lazy.
Medic: Because I always love feeling useful in fights.
