A WiFi event is going to be held for all the Japanese Gen IV games starting from the 14th of August till the 12th of September, where all the players of Pokémon will be able to download a Manaphy holding Lansat Berry and having Aqua Ring and Water Sport as its moves. There might be another two moves, but they weren't mentioned.



A new move for Victini was also revealed. This move is called Complete Burn. No additional information was revealed, but it is obvious enough to know that it is a fire type attack.

Judging solely from the move's name, it sounds to me like Complete Burn could be a Fire-type equivalent of Sheer Cold. That's probably not the case, though.

I feel it's going to be a OHKO move because of the name "Complete Burn", sound like it will completely burn the foe.

It has been confirmed that this Manaphy can be downloaded to any Gen IV Pokémon game.

Ah burning spikes would put Scizor in his place. I am hoping for such a move too, only under the name Hot Coals. And a 100% accuracy burn move would not be bad, since at the moment we only have one move with terrible accuracy. Meanwhile, there are 9 sleep moves...

According to Serebii, this Manaphy event is a Wi-Fi event. Someone confirm one!

If it is a Wi-Fi event, I will be one happy person.

When are we going to get these Japanese events? I want Manaphy and Celebi, not Latios and Latias!

Also, I'm guessing Complete Burn is a Psychic attack, in which you insult the opponent into submission.

Ossim. When I got SoulSilver from Japan I didn't realise there would be so many events for it! After seeing all of HG/SS's events, I decided to get a Japanese Black. (It was hella expensive... $70-something incl. P&P)

Cool. Too bad I didn't get a japanese copy of any IV generation games.
Complete burn will probably be like Overheat, or as GL said, a fire type Sheer cold.

Victini is going to be my "Rotom Replacement until I can use the Pokeshifter. He sounds if he has a good moveset. By the way, I read on a website that Victini event dates for Europe is upon games release!

New information has been revealed about the Manaphy. First, it is going to be at lv. 50 with a Mild nature. The other two moves are Heart Swap and Water Pulse.

I'm not too interested in the Manaphy, but it doesn't hurt to get one.
Also, Complete Burn sounds like a powerful fire move.
