I always found this game kind of hard.....
And I don't know why but I didn't even beat any world and I have 4 of them unlocked
I don't know what happened.
It's weird, I know.

Unlike many others I liked Super Mario Sunshine. Sure it wasn't as awesome as Super Mario 64 and Mario didn't really get to use his jumping skills, but it was still a good game. I have beaten the game (with all 120 Shine Sprites) TWICE (legitimately, no hacking at all).

You only like it because it has Yoshi.

..yeah, that's the only reason I like it. so what...

Don't worry. When Galaxy 2 comes out, that will definitely be his reason for absolutely loving it.

I do have the game, it came with my Gamecube, and I still haven't beaten it. It's been 5 years!
But you, do only need to get to mission 7 on each World.
And, like everyone else, I kept playing cause Yoshi was there.

I love Super Mario Sunshine. It's one of my favourite 'childhood' games.

I liked the game itself but some off the bosses were hard like The 2d Manta ray or the Eel.

Super Mario Sunshine beats Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy by a long run, in my opinion. Great level design, excellent visuals and sounds, and really nice level design made this game my favorite 3D Mario game.

Yeah, go ahead and beat me with a stick. I like most 1st party Nintendo games on the Gamecube better then their N64 predecessors and Wii successors.

I agree fully. Also the game is very original since there's not really any powerups. And you also have F.L.U.D.D.

I've never really cared for Sunshine as much as other Mario platformers, but I do know that it's a lot harder than some of them. 100% is quite the accomplishment, so good job!

That's what makes the Gamecube a good console. It's not a PC in disguise, it can't play DVDs, and its games come on tiny CDs, but its first-party games are outstanding. Of course, similar statements can be made about most any Nintendo console.
Sunshine is one of my favorites, but it's hard for me to decide whether or not I like it more than Super Mario 64.

Hopefully there will be more Yoshi in Galaxy too. Yoshi use to be like a necessity. Like in every level on the super nintendo games ya know? ,:3

I like Sunshine, over the time I borrowed it (about a month) I got like 20-something Shine Sprites. Jumping with F.L.U.D.D. is very hard.

I have always loved the game: I have gotten around 80 Sprites (+ Blue Coin Exchange - Which I have about 90 of). I also beat bowser the final time, but nothing else.

I loved that game. I always thought it was under-appreciated, and though it is my least favorite of the 3D Console Marios, it was still great fun. I think a 3DS remake would be nice. I never got 120 stars, there were a couple of Blue coins I never found...

It's a great game that's pretty challenging. I've only got about 35 sprites (but I haven't really worked too hard on it...).

I agree; F.L.U.D.D. was annoying (and jumping with F.L.U.D.D. was more annoying), but the rest of the game was excellent.

SMS was awesome. I got it for my 8th birthday along with a Gamecube and a Melee disc. I had about 50 Shines and then I got mad cause you needed to beat all of the Shadow Mario levels. -_- Those levels were a pain...

SMS was my first mario Game in that style. I had the same reaction to Sunshine as you guys had to 64. Good times.... I remember I couldn't sleep one night because of that one cutscene where shadow Mario steals FLUDD. The creepy music and SM waving like a pedophile scared me so much it made me grateful for the awesome music that came next. Too bad those levels were annoying as HEII
