Japanese show Oha Suta showed some more video footage of Pokémon Black and White. While showing a triple-fight, a new Pokémon known as ママンボウMamanbō was shown. From it's appearance, we can pretty much confirm it will be an evolution of Luvdisc.

I had posted in a thread just minutes ago about wanting to see some evolutions, and boom. I find this. Epic. I actually wanted the Luvdisc evo to be a Water/Dark "broken heart" Pokemon but this is cool too.

I (pun not intended) love this one! I'm happy to see cute little Luvdisc getting an evolution, and it looks very nice. I may well use one in Gen V.

Looks pretty cool evo for the lonely Luvdisc, let's hope it's got good stats to boot!

This actually makes me really happy. I have been waiting for news on evolutions of new Pokemon to be revealed. Good thing Luvdisc got one, since she deserves one. Competitively thinking, I believe it will end up in UU, since the ability Swift Swim makes it a fearsome sweeper, and it will actually have stats that Luvdisc lacked.

Leave it to Kazam to think of how things will affect the competitive metagame.

I hate Luvdisc, so I am not much excited about this one. But to the fact that some evolutions have started to appear, I am delighted.

I'm sorry, but luvdisc is just... flat-out boring. I'm just saying that it's gonna take more than adding fins and a stripe or two in order to get me to like luvdisc.

Luvdisc, eh? I always figured the thing would stay useless, but now maybe it won't be.

EDIT: Also, How did no one point out that WE FINALLY HAVE A NAME FOR THE CRYSTAL THING!!! I've been waiting for this, it looks interesting and I want think I'm going to use it.

Although I hate Luvdisc, I'm really happy to see that it's finally getting an evolution (or at least I hope so). I hope we see more evolutions of existent Pokémon in Gen V.

I will certainly get one on my team. Luvdisc will maybe become a bit more popular in Gen V. Of course it's Water type, but I suspect the addition of Pyschic type for some reason. Maybe cause its pink.

Gen V will probally bring loads of new evolutions. Mamanboo is cool, but what if they made a Tropius pre-evolution? That would be cool too. Gigaiasu the crystal guy i think might evolve from Probopass. I mean it has the same colours as Probopass, but even if it doesn't i still think he's awesome
