The new issue of CoroCoro is out, and boy do we have a lot of new information from it.


Here we have the Pokémon from the shadow released on Pokémon Sunday yesterday. It is Wooguru (ウォーグル) the Valor Pokémon.


Here we can see Musharna (ムシャーナ) which is the evolution of Munna. Musharna knows something known as Dream Smoke, as to what it does is currently unknown. We can also see Makomo who is a friend of Professor Araragi.



One version of the game will contain White Forest (second image) while the other will contain Black City (first image). Wow now we are getting more then just certain Pokémon to make the versions different!



These are the childhood friends of your main player. I'm guessing they will eventually serve as your rival(s).


Official artwork for Kibago (キバゴ) (the one who looks like Larvitar), Koromori (コロモリ) (the fuzzy-looking bat) and Minezumi (ミネズミ).

I said earlier that the blonde looks a lot like Barry and from what I've been told she's actually looking for her father.

First they have an unknown trainer appear in the anime, and now N. xD They`re really starting to use the whole element of "mystery" well this time around. Also, he`s got a Rubik`s Cube of sorts on him. I`m wondering whether that has any thematic relevance with him, or the plot of the games.

As for the version exclusive locations, that`s definitely something unexpected, it`ll be interesting to see how these games turn out, seems they`re not just mere Pokemon and graphical updates.

Also, from what I can tell, the new movie, "Freefall", where it lifts an opponent into the sky, then sends them crashing into the ground seems really similar to the anime`s depiction of Seismic Toss. Unless the Freefall just simply drops them from a high altitude xD

Mun`na`s evolution having a special tie-in with a function of the game makes me wonder just how significant it is (because it seems a bit random to be honest). As for Wooguru, it looks awesome. They seem to have incorporated some elements of the Native American Thunderbird into it.

Finally, a way to distinguish the games other than the Pokemon in them! I WANT THESE GAMES... now.

This gives me more incentive to buy both versions again.

I believe N is now the next Gary Mofo Oak.

I bet N's gonna be either part of the bad team or the champion of the elite four.

I'm blown away by all of this. Everything about this game looks completely amazing. Only thing that strikes me as odd is that N seems a bit young to be Champion of the league. Maybe he'll turn out to be related to Captain N!

All of the designs look great, Characters, Cities AND Pokemon. The only thing throughout the whole course of these updates I HAVEN'T liked is Gear. And The fact that Zorua is event exclusive.

Remember when they said the charcter's were going to be older in this version? and we get 3 rivals, or friends, and in the pic the room is all messy? Well, here's my theory -IT'S A FRATERNITY! and there all college students (maybe Princeton, lol).

N looks a lot like that chap we saw for about a second in the Desukan/Doryuuzu/TripBattles video. Perhaps N is a disguise? N seems like a pretty shady name...

We just got more scans about the connections capabities and how triple battles depend on your team.

Another thing would that you can get help from other players if you're "stuck".

What I'm most interested in is the fact that one pic has you go on a plane.

Wow. I'm seriously amazed by all those great news. I literally cannot wait any longer to purchase the games because they simply rock!

On serebii, it was revealed that Rankurusu referred to the green blob and Gochizueru referred to the goth tower and not the other way around. That makes sense, since the green blob is related to a cell and its name is Ranculus, based off of homunculus.
