Since Pokemon has been out there has always been a way for US to get a starter whether it be from a Lab,a Bag, a Briefcase, or good 'ol fashioned theft,and now it looks like "Saint Nick" is gonna give us an early present in September!! It looks as if you will recieve Tsutajja,Mijimaru,and Pokabu in a "Christmas styled box" and by that I mean you will open up a present from someone to get your precious 5th Gen starter!?
Do you like this new way of obtaining your starter or not?
And also which way of getting starters do you like the best?
Ex:1st/2nd Gen= Lab,3rd Gen = Bag, and 4thDP=Theft from briefcase lol,or Platinum=Gift from Briefcase.

... i think they are gonna give you your first pokemon as a present since you just turned 10 11 12 or 13

I think that the new professor will give you the starter as a present then take the two that you did not pick back.

Hhmmm..............maybe if this present thing is the way you get them maybe someone else gives you the starters it doesn't need to necessarely be the Prof. she may just be there for Pokedex purposes, but this is just a theory.

How come they will send the 3 starters as a present? In a present, you should take everything in it, not choose something out of it.

or maybe you ask for a certain pokemon as a gift
or you are quized and you get the pokemon most like you thatd b intersting

I think I know! What if the Prof. is your mom and when you come down stairs she asks you to choose a starter as a gift, then she will explain why she gave you the present. As usual she will ask you to take a pokedex and collect data for her studies.

Heh. The present has one of each Pokeball, you just choose which you want between the 3 because you're supposed to share with your friends. I doubt the Prof. is your Mom, considering they've already shown the main characters Mom and Aragai isn't her. It's probably just a random present, not a birthday thing because they have to share and your rivals aren't related to you.

Its not really a present from saint nick, watch the beginning video of the games and you will see in the starter town that Professer Araragi walks into your house then leaves and it show you standing next to Belle and Cheren when you open up the present from Araragi and choose your starter. Thats how it goes.

I think they're showing the battles out of order - First Belle, who picks the starter weak to yours, then Cheren. During Belle's battle, the room gets destroyed. Don't know why they'd do it like that though...
