Which system does your school or college follow? What is the range of marks for every grade?

My school follows the traditional 'letter' system, but has its own range of marks for every grade. Here are the details of those ranges:

A = 90%-100%
B = 80%-90%
C = 70%-80%
D = 60%-70%
E = 50%-60%
U = Below 50%

I'm just curious to find out what the grading systems in other schools might be because many students in my school say that ours is kinda harder. Is this really true?

They just give us numbers and if the total is below 180 at the end we fail.

We only get numbers during the mid-year and final examinations. In this case, anything under a 50% is a failure mark.
Otherwise, the letter system I posted above is followed.

A: 100%-90%
B: 89%-80%
C: 79%-70%
D: 69%-60%
F: Anything below 59%

Grade point averages are also calculated in this manner by pooling together total grades. Some teachers curb and round up grades of students as well.

Eh, it's boring, but changes for high school to letter grading so here we go:
4- 76%-100%
3- 51%-75%
2- 26%-50%
1- 25% and under
So 2 is a failing grade.
