Now at Gamestops in the US, you can set your preorder for Pokémon Black and/or White...if you're into preordering games about 3/4 of a year before they come out...

XD Ridiculous. I may or may not pre-order it this early, more likely not. I mean, we only know 7 of the Pokemon in the games. It amazes me one can pre-order this early.

Eep. There's just an estimated date of release. Who pre-orders that early? I at least want to know the gym leaders, more Pokemon, a bit of the storyline... something, you know. D:

Is it just me or is Pokémon International using April Fools Day as an approx. release date constantly now...? Call me crazy, but I could swear that the same date was given for D/P, Platinum, and HG/SS from some official store (I remember Amazon at least).

Disclaimer: If anybody can give me background in this, I would appreciate it. Since I do like to be correct, who sets these days anyway, NOA, NOJ, Pokemon International, ...?

Wow! It is shocking how fast they are trying to sell these games.

It's just ridiculous that the games are available for pre-order this early although we barely know anything about them. Why are they making everything so quickly these days?

I smell a false release date.

I'm shocked that these games are already available for pre-order, considering they were only announced in Japan about two months ago and in the US only two weeks ago. Then again, this might mean that TPCi is going to stop messing around and actually start telling us things on schedule with Japan this generation. They know we've got the Internet and that we use it for Pokémon news, so any new info in Japan could be simultaneously--or even earlier--released in the US, such as main legends, Reshiram and Zekrom.

Because it's unlikely they don't know about folks halking the game from release, perhaps they might make no secret legends or use 256-bit encryption to make it difficult for sites to crack them.

Wow. I want to wait because:

In the end I am getting Black because I am a Pokémon nerd!

I actually pre-ordered Pokemon Diamond about as much ahead of time as if you were to order B/W now, so I`ll probably pre-order them soon as well.

I definitely have to get both this time, too. I personally like Zekrom`s design better, but my middle name translates as "Light" in English, so it wouldn`t be right not to get Black, given that Reshiram`s the "White Yang" Pokemon.
