Courtesy of forum user Jason_Henge, VictoryRoad's Zoroark skin has debuted. The skin uses a black-red color scheme and is well polished. Uh... I'm not sure what else to say ;P.

To try it out: http://www.victoryroad.net/index.php?styleid=14

Ooh, it looks nice. I'll try it for a couple days to see how I like it, but from the 30 seconds I've seen of it, it looks really cool.

I like it, the user color needs to swap though, considering the normal user color is practially the same as the admin color.

EDIT: I've noticed a few broken images, like in quotes:

The redirect button is a dead image.
Also, I recommend making the link color turquoise(Say it's the color of zoroark's eyes) or something so it's easier to read:

Spoiler Alert:

Yeah, would be important if we were to make the skin default (we seriously need to get away from the default VB).

Yes. ProBoards is the easiest way to made a skin since it's pretty much idiot-proof and free. (Although I feel slightly bad I am abusing the system, but I'm more artist than programmer.) And I've just did a few banners. However, if you need skins, I can make them.

I'm glad everyone likes the skin. I normally don't like Pokemon of interest like Zoroark for a skin theme, but he looks so fun and unique.

I think any suggestions to improve this skin will be accepted. Honestly I just whipped this up when it was still fresh in my mind. I noticed some colors that don't go together and really must be fixed or altered to a different shade.

IMHO, the colors clash a little, and the background doesn't look to good. The banner isn't too bad, I think Zoroark should be a little less transparent.

BUT, Finally, a different theme.

I agree with the red text to white. It's becoming an eyesore.

If I knew this was going to be used on the forum before I made it, I would have did a few alterations so the golden-yellow won't look so... bleh.

It looks quite nice in my opinion, except for the background. That is a little weird. There are also a few places, such as the Quick Reply box, that use the default colors. I also notice some clashing, but we can easily fix that up.

Ooh, I like the Zoroark Navy skin...you should drop the Zoroark theme from it, give it the VR logo, and make the background white instead of the Zoroark one, give it a name like "White" or something then make that and entirely new background.

...Yeah.

Link for those who don't check the style switcher every three minutes: http://www.victoryroad.net/index.php?styleid=15

I think I know what you mean. The large dark grey line that looks like a bunch of overlapping circles. That bothers me too. D: But I was just playing around, trying to make a square tile symbolize the Pokemon. Those colors are the actual colors from the Pokemon.

Here's the tile, not covered by the forum-distraction.

It's very nice. I like how this one is not so bright nor dark compared to the other skins. The navy skin is even better than the original Zoroark skin. Great work

I'm thinking that the main index of the forums look flat because there is only one shade of gray going on throughout the whole thing (although I think I see some slight gradients). It would look nicer if there were one or two more colors or shades involved. The default skin has three.

Got Ninja'd by Buoysel...

I think the current background is great. It provides a sense of depth. I agree with the table background part but the text colors are fine.

Probably. I can go on GIMP and eyedrop the color codes out for the different grays (greys?). Personally, I like all shades of gray.

I really don't need this BS over a stupid skin that I didn't know would be used like this. I was making it for a friend to thank him for being so awesome. NO, don't back down just cause some people don't like it. So it needs some work. Work on it when you have the time. If people don't like it then they can use a different theme. I said that some of the colors clash, but I still use it. I am working right now to come up with some better colors if you want to hold on, I am willing to help you.

Ah, yes, that missing image was fixed. I'm referring more to the light blue box that appears around the Reply box. I've also noticed the Manage Post button, only visible by moderators looking at deleted posts, is missing an image.

Also, I'm not saying the skin is bad, I'm just saying that it's not yet complete.

Edit: See attachment. Also, all the icons for the attachment types are missing. However, that one simply requires copying them all from the old folder, something I'll quickly do now.

Edit 2: Attachment icons fixed.

I certainly do like the skin and I am trying not to complain, but it is incomplete. I really don't want to sound like a pain, but I just think it needs a little bit more work before we can consider it finished. I apologize if I seem rude, but would you please at least be a little more open to suggestions? A forum skin is something that can be quite easily modified by any administrator once it is available, so there isn't any trouble of re-rendering something for an hour, insane upload times, filling in descriptions, or anything else that many other works of art take to modify.

I do thank you for allowing Victory Road to use the skin, but we (referring to anyone who has the ability to administrate it) must be allowed to finish it to deploy it.

Thank you.

There's a difference between a good skin and some 8-year-old childish fantasy. I can understand the text change, since the all read was blinding.
