Ok, something just happened to me today.
My parents were too busy to pick me up, so I had to walk home. When I was walking, I saw a skinny little dog looking quite shaky and he was in a leesh with his owner. The poor thing looked like he/she's starving. I walked past them, then immediately called a cop with my mom's cell phone. They came by and I told them that I just saw a skinny dog that looks abused and starving in a lesh with his owner and they arrested the owner and took away the dog right in front of me.
I guess over here they take animal abuse seriously. I've never done this before but I know I'm doing the right thing. What kind of a sick person would abuse his own dog by not feeding him? Or even other pets?
Has anyone here ever seen these things? What's your view on animal abuse? Personally I believe that no animal should ever suffer like that especially by a human on purpose. Its just not right. They don't deserve it.
Honestly, what has the world come up to?

There's a lot of humane societies dedicated to this subject.
Yeah, if you're going to abuse your pets by leaving them with poor nutrition, illness, and beating them, then you deserve to (as I say) die in a firy hole with Mega Man spikes at the bottom. |

Good job LoPun. There is no way that I would have had the courage to rescue an animal like that. Animal abuse is disgusting, and only the truly weak do it to feel empowered.

How did you know the dog wasn't instead suffering from a horrible chronic illness such as liver disease? Animals that become sick like that can lose weight and become deteriorated.
