However, the games have threatened to kill you. If you play Firered on an emulator, at one point in the games it says "By the way, if you like this game buy it or die.".

Actually in HG/SS when you enter the Pokeathlon you say a phrase. I mean sure it's one phrase but he/she can still speak.

Well, Red and Gold are both vocal. If they weren't the Copycat wouldn't be ABLE to mimic them. In FRLG, Blue calls your character (Red/Leaf) a "chatty gossip".

Not true, I caught Ho-oh with a Great ball Ultra ball (after checking) in both HG and SS. He was easy to catch.

They got a catch rate of 3.9% so i'd say thats somewhat slim.

Does Surfing and using Waterfall count towards that? Especially in G/S/C when you rode Lapras while surfing.

I'd actually prefer NOT having the animé style cries. The animal style cry is perfect as is and we don't need them effing it up by making them say their names kike in the anime.(which is a stupid idea).
Maybe updating 3rd gen & up cries using higher quality sounds that the DS can handle but using the anime voices is a no-no. :l
