If it has no gimmicks and goes back to the days of Sonic Adventure or 2 or maybe even heroes, then I'm totally digging it!

What Ningamer said. If anything, SA1 was the start of the gimmicks in Sonic games, Heroes ESPECIALLY. For such a gimmick hater, you sure do like games with gimmicks, Charizard.

Although Heroes was a fun game, I'd rather not have gimmicks.

It's an Action-RPG.
Super Mario is a platformer. Werehog beats things up for EXP.

That looks like a good game.Sega brings back the old school.We see about how the gimmicks will play out the game.

Once again Sega has promised that Sonic will go back to his roots... Let's see if they keep that promise this time.
