Want to experience HeartGold/SoulSilver in 3D? Just like in Pokémon Black/White!
Yes,this is possible in Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver!
Here's the Action Replay code for 3D angle in HeartGold/SoulSilver-

20001218 0000000d
d2000000 00000000
Want to see a proof before trying it out?
Here are some screenshots-
Cherrygroove City in 3D!

Cherrygroove City Pokémon Center in 3D!

This is an Action Replay code.Cheats have chance of corrupting the game!
I didn't have any problem as of yet.But use these as your own risks!
That's pretty cool. It definitely looked like the Centers were supposed to look that way, but maybe not the towns. The only reason I say that is that you can see the next route. I don't think that's what they had in mind for the grand scheme of things. I wonder what the Goldenrod Gym would look like with that... *hint hint*
This obviously proves that HGSS is fully 3-D, as in every point in 3-D space is mapped. Because of this, you can not only do this, but I'm assuming rotate the camera with a different cheat. Thanks a bunch, now I might actually get an AR (anyone know if HGSS is being successfully emulated?)!
Edit: I'm going to sticky this because I really think this is impressive.
Well, HGSS has already been proven to be a full 3-D game. The problem is, there's only about four or five parts of the game where the camera isn't isotropically fixed, and is instead angled the way these codes cause the angle to appear.
I believe that Black and White aren't neccasarily the first to be fully rendered in 3-D, just a 3-D Pokemon game with full camera angles.

^Google is very useful in finding stuffs like that.
I''l edit this later if I find it. |
I tried this out. It looks awesome, but when walking up and down you move really slow, and you also can't tell whether you're in grass or not. It's obvious that this wasn't intended to happen in the overworld, but in buildings it does look awesome. And this isn't what the whole of Black and White will be like, only parts of it. Look at this picture:
