It takes too long to get specifics (3000th still-existing thread) compared to database numbers (thread #3000). Most people like claiming the latter, anyway.

Not really. As the time of posting, there were 3005 threads. The database counter went up to 3125. Again, do the math.

I know, but in the future, you'll have to run queries to find exact numbers. Heck, it took me about five tries to find out exactly what the 100,000th post in the chatroom was. It's far easier to look up post #100,000.
