Alright, so, I created this thread so that we could all explain why we all have chosen the username that we have. I think that this will be interesting and some people may have hidden meanings that we never even had thought of.


As for my name, some of you probably know that is stands for Superkowz. This was something that started in 6th grade or so, and my favorite animal is still a cow (Moo!). I created a new E-Mail address under the name 'superkowz' and I am still using it today. Most of the sites or forums that I go to and that require a login are under the name Superkowz, except for a few other sites.

I suppose that the name Superkowz reminds me of a few years back which were a good and fun part in my life. Although I honestly do not know why I abbreviated the name when I came to VR, I guess I just wanted a change.

Well i have two names:

Falco - Simply because of the Starfox character.

Captainsi444 - Captain because i was captain of my football team (soccer) and my mates called me captain, Si because my name is Simon and people call me Si. And 444 because 4 is my favourite number and was my shirt number and four 4's together sounds better than one. lol

It's simple, really! I use this name on lots of Pokemon sites, and it's mostly because I like Alakazam. However, simply being "Alakazam" would be lame, so I decided to choose a name that one could say smoothly and all together. "Alakazamaster" was the perfect fit.

FUN FACT! It was originally going to be Alakazamilotic, because I like Milotic a lot too, but I soon dropped the concept.

Well for me, I think Dorei means slave in Jap. (Not too sure) And it sound pretty cool. I make stories alot and I made a Naruto Character called Dorei Uchiha. She was a cool character and I decied to name most my usernames and e-mails after her.

Now since this was my first forum and the first place I used it (honoured aren't you) I use it everywhere. I have an E-mail with it but I already have a good one so I don't use it too often.

Well, Yoshizard is obvious, but my other name, yoshiroks777, comes from my favorite Nintendo character (Yoshi). He rocks. Also, I am from Las Vegas, so I chose 777 like jackpot.

My name is a very vague reference to Strong Bad Emails. If anyone remembers the old Lappy menus, they had a button on the top right labeled "rando.bat".

The Mario theme was the first VG theme I learned to play on my cello. Also, he's my secong favorite Nintendo character (Link is first)

My previous username was mtdhlite, which stood for MtDH-Lite. MtDH, as a few of you may know, is a fanfiction I draw in my spare time about a guy named Matt, trying to reclaim his homeworld along with the help of siblings and friends. Lite is a character from MtDH whose powers are manipulation of the energies of everything around him. To fuel himself, Lite drinks liter upon liter of Coca-Cola before a battle, so he can use the caffiene and sugar as surplus energy. This is based on the character Frankie from One Piece, who uses cola as a source of power and has a built-in fridge in his stomach.

LiteTheIronMan came from Lite and my obsession with superheroes. I had only gotten into Iron Man recently at the time- in fact, had I not seen Iron Man, my username probably would've been LiteTheSpiderMan. Out of all my favorite Marvel superheroes, it would go on a tier scale of:

1. Iron Man
2. Spider-Man
3. Hulk
4. Human Torch
5. Ghost Rider

So there you have it.

I must say, quite a few of your names were pretty obvious.

I chose TheRagingTyranitar because it's my YouTube username.
Tyranitar is my favorite Pokémon.

But anyways how I got to that name?
Well Of course umbreons my favorite pokemon but it wasnt the pokemon that got me into pokemon
Actually it was magneton, see me and my friend played pokemon toghether a lot and so we decided to choose one pokemon and raise it to the max. Well after we did so, him with an Umbreon and me with a Magneton, we fought..well since he was like 12 and I was 7 he beat me...although I now know how he did so. After that I always wanted an Umbreon but could never get one. So I had to wait. and then I got XD..and I chose umbreon. He became my best pokemon, and he now sits in my team awaiting competitive battle.

Amir is a fairly simple name and there isn't much to it. Amir is the main character of one of my favourite books, The Kite Runner. It's actually funny, because many people think that Amir is my real name because it's such a common Muslim name.

First of all, let me say what you are probably thinking,
"Why is your name impossible to pronounce?"
It isn't... Let me break it down for you:
QUAD-CEN-TRU(as in "true)-O.
Simply enough, right?

Anyway, the way I got my name is quite intresting.
It goes back to when I joined Youtube. I had to put in a name for the account and I wasn't going to use my Flash Flash Revolution name (which is fastfingers34... stupid right?).
So I had to think about it.

I looked at the screen and saw an advertisement for an HP computer with Quadcentru (Quad-cen-trow, throw without the "h"), so I took that word and added an "o" to it.

The weird thing about my name for Victory Road is, I joined this place after I joined Xbox Live. After I joined Xbox Live, I would always use the name on it for internet stuff (which at the time was EndoFailure).

Azu. Short for Azuvala, and in full, Ázuvala Assantri.

Reason I didn't use my full name for once: I liked the idea that when searching Google for "Azuvala", this site's posts I participated in *wouldn't* come up. Plus, I thought it would be nice to give people a break on pronunciation for once. ;P

Ázuvala is a combination of two Elvish words (from Tolkein's Lord of the Rings).
Ázu = sunlight
vala = angelic power

Assantri is just a last name that I invented to fit, and I have grown quite attached to my name as a whole.

I have no earthly clue how it is supposed to be pronounced *correctly*, but I intended it to be pronounced "Ah-zoo-VAY-la." However, most people I've encountered say it "ah-ZOO-vah-la."

The answer to why I came up with an internet alias in elvish lies in the origin of my roleplaying, which was in medieval LotR scenarios. Having a half-elf, half-human, she needed an appropriate name. She controlled both dark and light magic in perfect equilibrium, but I decided to base her name on her light attribute because it was the first she discovered. She was a complete and entire Mary-Sue, and I know this because I still like her despite recognizing her absurd perfections.

Since then, I rather liked the fact that I had come up with a name that Google had no results for, and I adopted it as my internet alias. I'm a bit paranoid about using my real name on the computer.

It's interesting, I now have 4,230 results (as of today), and the stupid search engine has stopped asking, "Do you mean, 'zuvala'?"

Really? Do I even need to explain it?

My name comes from the term "I dunno". Some guy sad that to me in my art class and something struck. The 58 comes from the most memorable Channel on my television: Cartoon Network.

Kurusu is the name of an unreleased Pokemon from early Gold/Silver concept art. Lapras is from my belief that it was supposed to be a baby form of Lapras, due to its "uncanny" resemblance to Kurusu that apparently only I can see. Truthfully, I don't even like Lapras. But I <3 Kurusu!

I sat down one day, looked at my television set, saw a Pokemon DP commercial, looked at the chubby little turtle, went on a pokedex, looked up the name, saw the name "Turtwig", I used it in DP, beat the game, and it became legendary!!!!!! so that's how I chose the name Turtwig, one of my most favorite Pokemon.

It seems that Technomancer noticed it the whole time, and SK noticed it today, but for those of you who don't know...

The Nismo Z is the performance model of a car by Nissan (Z generally covers the whole line). Hence, NismoZ.
