When Serebii.net posted the episode pictures of the Grand Festival episode,I was looking at the pictures like I usually do.Then I saw a picture where Nando was showing his badge case to Ash.Nando has seven badges,five of them were Sinnoh Badges but two of them were unknown badges.

I think the artist for the anime were just to lazy to look up the desighns for the other gym badges.

But this does make me think there must be a dragon, fire and some other gym (it's hard to tell by an arrow) in Sinnoh.

It could be a hint for the next generation. We should wait until we see the official badges.

I really doubt they are future badges. This has happened many times before, such as when Gary was showing off his badges back in the first Generation.



Most of those badges are unrecognizable, and also have not appeared in future generations.

No, this has happened in other Season before.
Its unknown from where these Badges are, maybe the Designers had no samples of a few Badges... but thats just what I think.

Also the design is very similar to the rest of the Sinnoh Badges, so its not possible that those Badges belong to the 5th generation.

Not everything in the animé must be similar to what's in the Pokémon games. And I believe we've experienced that a lot by now. Therefore, I don't think these are futuristic badges.

Gary's unknown badges looks so unrealistic but Barry and Nando's unknown badges looks real.

Those are probably just badges for gyms in Sinnoh. That's how it usually is since the anime implies (And directly stated in season 1) that each region has more then 8 badges, you just need 8 to get to the League.

That is so weird how the badges from the game is different from the anime.
