I could go with Charmander..., but I'm going to go with Totodile. Now, my number one is Charizard, but since it's not I'm going with Totodile.

My favourite starter is Piplup because it evolves into the awesome Empoleon.

Torchic because it evolves into a Pokemon that deserves a game featuring it as much as Pikachu.

Well, clearly if Pikachu was up there because of Yellow, I would choose Pikachu. But, since it isn't, who could go wrong with Charmander. Was my favorite of all those starters for several reasons. One of those reasons being that it evolves into Charmeleon>Charizard.

Pikachu is a starter in my soul and mind. xD...

Honestly, I am surprised to see that Cyndiquil and Treecko is tied up with Chikorita and Totodile. I think they're both better starters. I am also surprised to see that Mudkip isn't tied up with Treecko and Cyndiquil. But at the same time, it is understandable I guess.

well I picked totodile cause its pretty much the only starter I use if I cant use him then I just send the starter I pick into the pc NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN!

My favorite is Charmander because it looks so uber to me xD. I always use it in my games and Charizard was my first ever shiny I got in my pokemon games. He is also not effected to Ground type moves which is one of his weaknesses since he is part Flying type.
