Hey guys, throughout the Pokemon Generations.
Nintendo has brought us many awesome Games, like in Generation 4.. we got Diamond, Pearl, Ranger 2/3, Platinum, PRS, PokePark, Heartgold, Soul Silver.. and Much more!
And since the 4th Generation is coming to an end, we will be Introduced to the 5th Generation of Pokemon... wohoooooo!
So I made this Thread so we can Discuss and share our thoughts on Possible future 5th Generation Games.

Heres my List, of Games I think that will be coming out -

2010 - Black/White
???? - a Wii Title
2011/2012 - Grey (The extended version B/W)
2013/2014 - Ruby/Sapphire Remakes

What do you think?

Well, I think the Wii title should have more then just battling like PBR.

I don't care about wiiware titles, it's not like it distracts the "pattern" of pokemon games.

I doubt the Ruby/Sapphire remakes because they would be pointless.

I remember hearing "I doubt the Gold/Silver remakes because they would be pointless" alot back in 2004 after FireRed/LeafGreen.

I like the idea of Grey as the remakes of Black/White.
But still we don't know what Black/White is going to be realesed on? It might be on DS, 3DS or it could even be realesed on the Wii! But still we don't know.

Lucario WAS "included" in the 3rd gen. Does anyone remember PKMN Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue? Lucario rank. We also need something like PBR and the normal pokemon 8 gym leader games mixed.

Mime Jr, Bonsly, and Weavile were also in Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue as reward statues for doing rare missions.

Yes thats True, but they didn't have official PokeDex No. Entries.
Like Zorua and Zoroark, we don't know if they are #494/5 or #576 or #511.

That timeline looks pretty close to my personal predictions.

I believe a Wii game a la PBR will be released soon after BW. Due to the inclusion of a new PokeDex, the current console games would be irrelevant and useless, possibly even incompatible with Gen V.

In the Wii title, I would love to see the return of the famed minigame section from Pokemon Stadiums one and two, only adapted to the wii console! That would be simply amazing.

Hell yes. The mini-games were indeed awesome. Bring them back! But please, no crappy motion controls... Good ones are OK...

I will keep this brief, but many people (such as myself) believe that Hoenn remakes would be pointless because:

Fire Red and Leaf Green's Kanto and Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald's Kanto and Hoenn (respectively) can connect to Sinnoh through Pal Park. Before HG and SS, Johto could not connect to Sinnoh. Thanks to HG and SS though, every region has the ability to connect to the current generation. As such, Hoenn remakes would not be necessary.

And on the topic of the Wii title, I think it needs to go back to the style of Pokemon Stadium! Mini-games... free battles, everything! Sure the Rental Pokemon back then were not great, but they were something! PBR is next to useless without Diamond, Pearl or Platinum. Pokemon Stadium was improved with Red, Blue, and Yellow, but the game was still great without them.

That is a great thought.
