Felicitations, Poke-aficionados. My real name is Nicholas Manuel, but here my persona is Soul of Silver. This name is inspired by Pokemon SoulSilver Version (I own a copy of this version). Ever since Pokemon was first televised I became a fan from that point on. In 2002 (or was it 2001, I'm not sure), I claimed my first taste of the fanatical turn-based, monster-battling RPG with Pokemon Silver. I think it was 2005 when I beat the game with dumb luck. Thus, opening the floodgates for later versions: Ruby (a copy I borrowed and never gave back), FireRed (my sister's copy she bequeathed to me), Pearl (bought with my hard-earned money), and now, SoulSilver (also bought).
I am looking for a forum topic where I can exchange tips and tricks for catching, training, and battling Pokemon. Mods, I promise to try and not act like a retard, troll, drunken heckler, etc..
I joined with the best to learn from the best, bottom line.
Here are, but a few tips to jumpstart your Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver experience. If starting HeartGold/SoulSilver, do not select Chikorita as your starter Pokemon. Trust me, it's a big disadvantage in the first gym. Choose Cyndaquill, because it is a huge advantage in the second gym.
Be sure to use the Pokewalker any chance you get. Don't even bother shaking it (it's a smart little bugger), just walk with it. Certain Pokemon only appear when you walk a certain number of steps. And, it's good for your body. Bottom line, the Pokemon you find are only as good as your commitment to a healthier you. The more you walk, the better your chance of finding a rare pokemon.
By the way, you can call me Silver.

Haha no, not insulting at all. I'm a jokester, so don't take my massive outrage too seriously.
