I think there's a decent probability that there will be at some point, but certainly not anytime soon.

I don't think so because usually the point of remakes is to do things that weren't avalabe at the time but RSE didn't have much of that.

No, for the reasons Cat mentioned. FR/LG allowed the first gen to be compatible with the third gen, and then when the fourth gen came out it could be backwards compatible with them. Then the addition of HGSS made it so all of the generations could be compatible with one another. There really is no point to it.

Possibly on the 3DS, since it will most likely be non-GBA compatible. If it's not, you'll have to migrate to D/P/Pt/Hg/Ss, then trade, and now a lot of pepole have two DSes.

Basically what Yoshi and Cat said. Once backward compatibility is completely irrelevant (i.e. when the DS Lite is no longer marketed) then there is a slight chance of there being RSE remakes. But since the 3DS is slated to be backwards compatibile with the DS, you can still Pal Park as long as you have a DS/DS Lite, then put the DS game into a 3DS and play.

Once the GBA has been completely rendered obselete (the hardware is still in the DS Lite) then RSE remakes might be made. I wouldn't cross my fingers for it though, RSE is still fresh.

They may remake R/S (no emerald ,kinda like HG/SS) in 2,3, or 4 years. After 5th gen. Then, R/S WILL BE remade. On the 3DS.

I think that there is a chance that in the future, all of the games might be remade, only if another handheld system makes the DS/DSi/3DS obsolete.
