Boomerang, a TV network owned by Cartoon Network which airs older cartoons, will now be airing the original anime series of Pokémon. It will be shown in North America at 6:30 PM EST.

Too bad Boomerang is considered an "extra" channel and is only part of the larger packages on cable and satellite.

I thought they were doing this years ago.

At least I finally know a way to watch reruns of the anime now.

When I saw this, I fell out of my chair and blacked out for 3 hours in disbelief.
Then I looked on the channel, and I blacked out again for about 4 hours.
Then I recorded all the episodes to be aired. I had happies.

Mr. Raptor. Do want. I wish I got Boomerang. It'd be the only channel I'd watch.

And I actually get this channel! I'll have to start watching it in the afternoons.

EDIT: Grrr! In my timezone, the airings are going to fall right in the middle of dinner every single day! D:

Twice, in fact. They stopped shortly after each time, only airing for a few weeks. I doubt this time will be different, but this was still a good 5 years ago. They may expect the ratings will be better with a different audience.

Yea! I have boomerang! I'll definetly watch the episodes and there is a good chance I'll tape them and put them on a DVD.

I found out on accident.
Flippin' through channels and Pokemon was on!
It was "Enter the Dragonite!"
