Pokémon Black and White → Generation 5 in my opinion and how it may turn out!

okay, as we all know, gen. 5 is coming soon. So, there are so many thoughts and feelings on how these games may turn out and whether there will be a 3rd gen remake. for example, what will the games be called? Here are my guesses on these mysterious games

first off, in my opinion, as the games continue, the pokemon get more, er, "unique" looks. hopefully they won't look too bad. Not all of the pokemon are bad looking, but gen. 4 gave some signs. My guess on how the whole layout with legendaries and game names and stuff may be based on earth science related things, in my guess. I hope they really even take the graphics to a whole new level. After playing Heart Gold, I'm excited. Starters, hopefully get cool new looks! I would like to see a water starter that would look like a crab or a crustecean. Grass, I would like to see a flying type grass, and as for fire? I WANT A VOLCANOE-LOOKIN' TYPE POKEMON, BABE! as for cities, probably same as usual, but add cool effects.I think they should do a city in the air, which would be awesome. Or maybe one like near a volcanoe. Epic, right? As for the remake, one word: DUHHHHHHHHH! why wouldn't they? as gen 6 comes, so does gen 4 remakes! sounds shocking, right? As for evil team, maybe something like gen. 3 where there were 2 teams, like maybe flying and rock type or something like that. I expect the legendaries to be very nice, as well as well thought out.

generation 5 will be 3D i guess since theres a new game system comming 2011 and it can handle 3D games. so 5th gen should be in 3D

I'm sure we won't be seeing generation 4 remakes in another 10~15 years. Come on. They're pretty advanced and modern.

I really hope they don't make Gen 3/4 remakes. The reason they made Gen 1 and 2 remakes was to fulfill the nostalgic wishes of older players. Older Players have no nostalgia for any gen after the 2nd one. It wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo did do it though, considering the cash cow that Pokemon is.

Well,... They are running out of ideas. That was good example, but that they don't have a lot of ideas out of their sleeves.

That's sad, but true. It seems that fans have all the good ideas. Searching for "fakemon" on deviantART turns up thousands of creative designs.

there's a thread Cat made awhile back explaining why there won't be a re-make of the third gen. Can't seem to find it though...

my guess for the names is Argon and Neon. They sound cool, type of element that hasn't been used yet, and they fit together.

I don't really care what the starters are as long as they don't look retarded

Lol, those are both gases, Neon (Ne) is a noble gas. It is also the name of a car, and electronic sighs. I don't think Pokemon should be added to that list.

If there is 3D Graphics that can only be on the 3DS or whatever, I would like an option to switch between 3D and non 3D. I don't want to get rid of my DS Lite.

There should be an elephant pokemon.

I want Pokemon as 3D. I want them to be as real as possible. I want to see fur on the Pokemon in the movies.

They are both Noble Gases. I actually know my table of elements. Hence "they are element types that haven't been used yet" There are no noble gas pokemon versions.

What's wrong with having a neon pokemon version?
The electronic signs are neon because they use the element neon to get the colors, and the car isn't even worth a mention *shudders*

I'd get Argon anyways.

Oh, now there you went too far. As a member of Neons.org I can not stand by as you diss the Worlds quickest production car for under 20K. But thats a different topic.

Why should there not be a Neon Pokemon?

First, why?

Second, What would that look like? Gastly recolored to Nitro Yellow-Green?

lol the neon. most lulzy car ever. but your right, that is not for discussion here.

None of the pokemon would be re-colored, it's just the name of the game.
That's like saying all the pokemon in diamond are going to be a light blue.

It's just a stupid name of a pokemon gen 5 game. Nothing else needs to come from it.

Ohhhh, I though you meant a Neon Pokemon.

You mean "Pokemon Neon Version," and "Pokemon Argon Version?"

In that case, yeah that would be pretty cool, but Argon is too similar to Aggron. Maybe if they find another name.

I think they will make a 3rd remake but not early...
They just released HGSS and they are planning on releasing 3DS.
And don't forget 5th generation is on the way.
So I don't think there will be a 3rd Gen. remake too early.

Pokemon Tourmaline
Pokemon Amethyst
Pokemon Topaz
or maybe all 3 of them... one being used as the 3rd installment... if i am right i say i am just awesome.

I wasn't trying to sound official or anything. This thread was just explaining my opinion on how this may turn out. If you were looking for something actually using facts or anything, I'm sorry but I was just stating my opinion.

-The game being on the 3DS
Look at the offical site, or heck, look at the post I made regarding Pokemon B/W first revealing via their website. The thing has a Nintendo DS logo on it, NOT a Nintendo 3DS logo. I think the games would've been great 3DS release games and would benefit from the better graphics, etc., etc., but they aren't 3DS games.

-The Pokemon 5th Gen names
They've been confirmed to be Pokémon Black and White. For the Pokemon-Know-It-All, you sure didn't know the obvious.
