I would go for Totodile, Bulbasaur, and Torchic. If I were to choose different ones. I ALMOST CHOOSE MUDKIP ,but I'm choosing three different types. Who dosen't like :mudkip:.

Everyone voted in my Let's Play poll, so I chose Cyndaquil for my HeartGold playthrough. I will be choosing Chikorita in SoulSilver though, simply because I have the ability to do so.

As for the other starters... What, you can choose between a Kanto and a Hoenn starter, right? Then I'd be choosing Squirtle and Torchic in HG, and Mudkip and Charmander in SS.

Well, since I plan to get both...

Hey, don't be insulting Meganium. Sure its moveset is terrible, but its design is really neat.

Typhlosion is overpowered in game (Eruption hurts even if ya resist it ;~...but thats not what I intend to use my team for~! =p Competitive play is what im planning. Typhlosion still is pretty threating there though too....but I need a dragon dancer so feraligatrs mah man. =w= And hey don't completely count out meganium. D: It could be rather hard to take down with its leech seed, synthesis and defensive screens make it a pretty good team player. Just...that dang grass typing thats holding it back. ;~; They should make a held item that adds to the typing of single-type poke. :V Arceus doesn't count. =w=

Wow. I didn't know there was so many chikorita haters. I like chikorita. Its cute and its only a grass type! Its not like its poison and a grass type.

Guys, I respect your feelings and opinion, but don't you think you are ruining the whole concept of this thread? It isn't about the three Johto starters, but to people post their own choices.
