Kirby is one of my childhood favorites. I love Kirby. If there is a character that can be the 2nd best thing to Mario platforming it's Kirby.

KSSU (Kirby super star ultra) was a great game. I hope for the next game to build up on the story of Galacta knight because It seems like there needs to be an extended story for him.

Even if it does only come out in Japan, though I doubt that'd happen, I might just import it. Or not. :3
I've always loved Kirby. My favorite is actually Kirby's Dreamland 3 because I have fond memories of it. And now I can enjoy collecting ROB's parts and freezing Metroids.

Is there even any evidence at this point that it will come out in Japan? It has been on the press roster for over a year, and an official announcement is still pending. I think more likely than not it'll turn into a Super Mario 128 and never be released. Suffice it to say, I'm not holding my breath on a U.S. release.

I remember a Nintendo Power article WAY back when the GameCube was released. They were announcing a Kirby platformer for GameCube that looked very Crystal Shards, with a gimmick: Kirby loses the ability to copy his opponent's powers, so he carries around his buddies with him, who are enemies he defeats in combat, on top of his head/body in a totempole- like structure. Later on, I saw it reappear in a blurb in Nintendo Power (after the Future US redesign) and it seemed that it was rebuilt for Wii, and it would no longer contain the totem pole gimmick.

It's one of many Nintendo franchises that has yet to be given a well deserved console release.

Nintendo needs to start worrying about Kirby then Mario because Mario...let's just say he's a jackass who gets praise.

Since this is a Kirby thread, I'd like to say that I once had the OFFICIAL World Record for score on Kirby's Dream Land. I had held the record for 5 months in 2008 before it was beat.

Gosh, I gotta play Kirby 64 again.

I was playing some KD3 yesterday. That game is great, but i've noticed that it and K64 are really similar.

Yeah, K64 is the sequel to KD3. KD3 has the best graphics, for me. Anyways.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is my 2nd most wanted game of the year next to Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.

I watch the trailer on youtube and it looks really cool especially Kirby as a yarn robot.It's about time for Nintendo to make a new Kirby game.Can't wait for it.
