Hello everyone! Since school is coming to a close, and closed for those in college. I thought i would be fun to host an NU wifi tournament featuring the Pokemon that deserve a little more competitive battling love. The tournament will start 9 days from the time this thread is posted (which is July 1st) starting at 12:00 noon!!! The tournament will end July 7th at 12:00 midnight! (Official times are not final and are subject to change anytime in the tournaments duration) Anyone is welcomed to join! It will be a singles NU tier tournament in which you are meant to get creative picking a fearsome team from the most not so fearsome Pokemon! Here are the Pokemon you will be allowed to use:

Also, completely off-topic, but does it strike anyone as weird to be having a Dragonite (OU) and a Reuniclus (UU) in an NU tournament? o-o

As of right now, I cannot participate in this tournament. The start date is when I leave on vacation, and the end date is when I return. Now, I'm not sure if I'm actually going on that vacation yet.

Wow i just happen to be done breeding some interesting movesets with half of that list to try on someone I'll join but im not sure if i'll be able to do anything yet. I will be going down to Missouri sometime in during this or after the 8th im not sure. But im pretty sure i can get wifi were im going. (Going to see some family for a week) But im at home, i have to find a good place to get better wifi signal as my new room gets barely any signal. (Jumps from 1-3 bars)

If we get a mega pokemon, theres no NU mon that has a mega. (Thats not a Uber) Plus im pretty sure the mega would sweep the whole tier.

Good news, im staying down here with my other family members for awhile so i'll be able to battle in this thing. After awhile i'll be staying with my aunt and she has no wifi just normal internet.

Just FYI, I haven't forgotten about this tourney. I've just been very occupied. I will try to get my battle with Reuniclus today. It'll mostly be random Pokemon from this tier cause I've no time to assemble a synced team.

Super close. I made a terrible misclick in the middle of the match, but I think all of the misses he had makes up for it.

Yeah i lost. Hes pretty good, i think i over predicted alittle tho. NU is tricky, im not as good there.

So I somehow managed to defeat both my opponents today: Kakashi by 4-0 and MattyBro in a 1-0 nailbiter. I still maintain that both matches could have gone either way, especially the second one. Let's just say accuracy calc was on my side. Shoutout to my opponents for the great games.

Pianomaster beat me in the most exciting battle Ive had in a while. Take out the hax and I probably would have won but its part of the game and I had fun. Reuniclus on the other hand is like battling a slot machine. I missed focus blast 3 times in a row, lost all 3 speed ties, got a minimum damage roll and he KOed one of my mons, and got a maximum damage roll to KO another one of my mons. His misclick hardly mattered because I lost the speed ties the next turn anyway. Somehow I still won.

U know i think NU isnt my strong point, i think im just so used to OU so much that i think im playing in that tier for the whole switching with U-turn or Voltswitch to much isnt a good idea. (I had 2 U-turners and 1 Voltswitcher)

Since no one posted here, I will. Trees DESTROYED me 5-0 in the losers bracket finals and went on to lose to Pianomaster19 3-0 in the finals of the tournament. CONGRATULATIONS TO PIANOMASTER FOR WINNING HIS FIRST TOURNAMENT ON THE FORUM!!! Congrats to Trees as well for a close second! Thanks to everyone who participated! STAY TUNED BECAUSE IN A WEEK OR SO I PLAN ON HOSTING A BIG OU TOURNAMENT TO CLOSE OUT THE SUMMER! Hopefully we can get more participants than ever before!
