Pokémon Gold and Silver



In Pokémon Gold and Silver, you start off your journey into the Johto region with 99 new Pokémon adding up to 251 total Pokémon. You're trainer that starts off his legacy of becoming the Pokémon League Champion and being able to get 16 Gym badges, (8 from Johto) (8 from Kanto). Your goal is also to defeat the notorious Team Rocket and their attemps of world domination.

There are also special Pokémon that you can obtain such as: Lapras, Shiny Gyrados, Togepi, Tyrogue, Eevee, and Shuckle. One peculiar Pokémon you can catch is called, Unknown. There are 28 different kinds of Unknown (The 26 letters in the alphabet, plus ! and ?)

Pokémon not obtainable in Gold: Are Ekans, Arbok, Vulpix, Ninetales, Meowth, Persian, Ledyba, Ledian, , Delibird and Skarmory, Phanpy and Donphan.

Pokémon not obtainable in Silver: Sandshrew, Sandslash, Growlithe, Arcanine, Mankey, Primeape, Spinarak, Ariados, Gligar, Mantine, Teddiursa, Ursaring.

Pokémon not obtainable in Both: Bulbasaur,Ivysaur, Venusaur, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Omanyte, Omasatar, Kabuto, Kabutops, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew and Celebi.

Well, the review only scratches the surface, doesn't actually review the good and bad of the gave, doesn't establish your credibility to review the game (how much have you played it), and is as far as I know somewhat inaccurate (! and ? Unown were introduced in generated three, specifically first available through cheats in Ruby and Sapphire, then legally in FR/LG).

(I'm not sure how far I should go here.)

It also neglects to mention Red/Blue/Yellow and the compatibility with those games in any way, the system the game is for, the developers of the game, any screenshots of the game/the logo of the games/the boxart of the games... So, its not necessarily a bad review, just one that doesn't go really in-depth.

I can't catch Are Ekans in Gold? DARN!

Also...Didn't ! and ? Unown get introduced in D/P/Pt. and not G/S...?

Nope. They were both released in G/S.
