Which one is your favorite, and why?


I personally like Yveltal the most. Its bird-like appearance appeals to me more than the deer-like Xerneas and confusing worm-like(?) Zygarde.

I like Xerneas the most. The other two just look really weird, Yveltal especially. What in the world is it actually supposed to be besides a massive capital letter Y?

Xerneas is my favorite. It's a Fairy-type, and its design causes an "Oooh pretty colors" moment. Yveltal having three wings always bothered me, and although I like Zygarde, I prefer Xerneas. It's the legendary pokémon of life, and it shows the variety and beauty of that in every aspect of its being.

Although I do think the "Inactive Mode" look is ugly. Why does it even exist anyway? It serves no purpose.

I don't really use legendaries in battle at all, so I'd have to say Xerneas. Yveltal's design was always kind of nasty, but now I gotta say that I do give into the pretty shiny colorfulness of Xerneas. Plus, it's a fairy. Technically speaking that'd make Yveltal AND Zygarde weak to it

Zygarde gets my vote.
It's an interesting legendary and going by mythology as a basis it may have far more power than its letting on. It's ability to counter out the aura's of the other two and thereby promote "order" is also pretty amusing, I think.
Plus its design isn't totally out there and somewhat compact, yet cool. The other two just didn't really have an impact on me with their designs.

Just going with Xerneas for now since I don't have Yveltal. Xerneas has a crazy stat boosting move, so that, IMO, gives it the upper hand in most cases. Yveltal's typing and coverage moves are nothing to laugh about either, though.

I like Zygarde, but it didn't do anything in this game so there's not really much to evaluate on.

The move Geomancy is just sooooo cooooooooollll!!!!!

Also, the idea that each color is representative of one of the four stags makes me shudder with mythological ecstasy.

I'm a personal Zygarde supporter, just because it's so off-key that I like it. In actuality, I seem to like a lot of under-rated Pokémon, along with ones that just are overshadowed by others... (maybe that's why I like Grass-types? I dunno.)

I never had a real opinion on Zygarde. I based this mostly on design, but also type advantages and story relevance. Zygarde might be totally green, but Xerneas is pretty pretty shiny shiny and easily wins me over. I already went over type advantages in which Xerneas still wins. X and Y really... had no story, but Xerneas is the Pokémon that brings life and Yveltal does... exactly the opposite. Therefore I don't like Yveltal at all, and Zygarde was just there. If 6th Gen has a third game with a real story then maybe my stance on the Z-man will change.

Love the design and color of Zygarde! My favorite color is green as well, and was lucky enough to get a very good nature for this pokemon on the first catch!

Yvetal, LOVE THE DESIGN! Super cool wings and can blast almost anything to oblivion if he wanted to.

Xerneas is ok but it's not super cool looking like Yvetal. (Death and Destruction!)

Zygarde is just stupid, more power to the people who like him, but..... Garchomp is just better.
