It's been 50 years since the assassination of JFK. What do you feel about that?

Kennedy was awesome
I feel like I can't say anything about it that won't sound excessively cliché, though.

Who Cares!?

Sorry but the media will seriously not shut up about this and enough is enough.

You know what's really amazing, 50 years later and people still have insane conspricy theories!

Well, this was an assassination of a president, so of course it's a big deal. Still, there are shows and music videos that people and the media will not shut the hell up about, and it's waaaaaaaay more annoying than that. Example: The Fox
Lemme ask you a question, will you say that about the anniversary of 9/11 or the Holocaust?

I know in fact that I've said that to all three of those things. I don't believe in getting wrapped up in the past, it muddies the present and poisons the future. Mourning is alright but you have to eventually move on. He was the president, there's always one person crazy enough to wish death upon the president for whatever reason and another insane enough to plan it out and take action.

People make up conspiracy theories about pretty much everything. There's even one about the new hundred dollar bill predicting the rapture in New York or something. I require visual, factual evidence to form an argument and I've already had enough. I didn't know they guy personally since I'm not old so his death doesn't affect me. But pointless murder and violence does hit me hard so I believe it is a pity.

Yes, I've said it on the site before the media still makes a big deal about 9/11 to point were it really does feel unnecessary. We can't just continue living in the past over just one bad moment we also need to see how we can learn from it.

What I'm saying is that people and the media are not caught up in the past. What I'm saying is that they remind us of a moment in history. What we learn from it is how terrible people can be, and what countries do to other countries that are awful.

speaking of conspiracy, yesterday in History class. My History Teacher told us about his theory on how there was more than one shooter, or it wasn't Oswald. He says that the apparent building that Oswald was in when he fired 3 shots was behind the car. When Kennedy gets shot, his head goes backwards. If he was shot from behind, his head would go forwards.. Something like that, idk my History Teacher is a nut job
