Nothing else was expected from this. And I bet all my money that's the final name. I might look into it, the Vita was a definite improvement from the PSP. Maybe the PS4 will change my mind from disliking Sony.

We've got a controller! It has a touch pad, a Share button (everything needs Facebook ), and a headphone port.

Why am I not surprised I'm not liking this....

There are reasons I don't tell people on Facebook what I'm playing... Why are they making that a key point......

The only thing that intrigued me so far was Streaming from the console.... and that was just a little bit...

Gee, this thing is borrowing features from everyone: Xbox SmartGlass (with tablets/smartphones, not just the Vita), free demos of every game (Xbox 360 and OUYA), and Instantly asking for help getting through the game from the console (Wii U). I must say, though, the ability to live broadcast your game playing from the console is actually a great and original idea, including the ability for people to respond as if they were standing behind you and watching over your shoulder.

Let's just hope PlayStation Network actually continues running well and doesn't become a pay-to-play service like Xbox Live.

*Sigh* why do all companies feel the unnecessary need to tie in there products with Facebook or even anything oringal.

Also not buying a console where I have to be connected to the internet the entire time along with how I can't rent games.
That and I've ever been to interested Play Station games.

Are people seriously pissed off at waiting times.... I mean... You can always do other things why it loads...

I just hate how much they we're talking how much they've "Eliminated" loading and boot times.

That's why the rumoured new Xbox console has me not wanting it.

Sony tends to brag about the most tedious things a lot.

Sony confirmed for out-of-ideas.

Nothing I'm seeing from this is original. And the share to Facebook thing isn't exactly new, either. I've seen many posts concerning "amazing killstreaks" on my News Feed. But that instant streaming thing does actually sound promising...

So how much longer until the CEO of Games at Sony gets a much needed resignation?

The day when gaming finally realizes that we don't need integration with Social Networks.

Sum up.
Was bored out of my mind and only notable things was Live console Streaming, Watch Dogs Gameplay, and Destiny announcement for Playstation...

Otherwise. A crapload of nothing.....

If I remember correctly, I think I heard Sony was planning on having the PS4's library be download only. If that's the case...
Sony! Please don't make the same mistake twice!
Also, don't be like Microsoft and plan on making your systems unable to play used games.

Good news: the PlayStation 4 will not disable playing used games, as confirmed on Eurogamer.

I do have another thing to say, though. I wonder how popular the bonus DLC that comes free with new games will be in the near future. I've seen it experimented with on a few games to reward gamers who bought the game new, and I could easily see it being used as a way to encourage new game purchases. "Hey, if you get this game used, you'll have to spend another $20 to get the expansion packs, but if you buy it new you'll get all the day one DLC included at no extra charge."

You know, I think it's missing something... Something really important...

Actual games.

Did Sony not learn anything from the PS3?

Hmm I am not sure what to say about this, I know it's been like 5 years since the PS3 but with this new console it seems they havent made anything that stands out enough that will convince me to buy it.

It did get actual games... just not for the first two years of its life, making it slump when compared to the Xbox 360 and even the Wii.
Later in its life it did get a bigger library, but it was a little too late for that. Plus the price tag on launch day didn't help.
