My favorite was Pearl because it was the first and only pokemon game I ever beated.

Pokémon Silver. I loved the 2nd gen of Pokémon. It's where my interest in the series began, and it is the game where I got my first 100% complete PokéDex and first Level 100 and first legendary and... Many other first things. Also, most of my love of Pokémon thrives in the 2nd gen. And Silver > Gold/Crystal because of Lugia.

Yellow, probably because it holds a special place in my heart for multiple reasons.

Platinum because so many pokemon were avalible and it was really hard and I loved it.

Yellow, because it was my first pokemon game :') . It has the most memories, so natually it is the one that will always stand out to me.

It was slightly hard for me to decide between Platinum and Emerald, since both of them have a special place in my heart.
However, I still went with Platinum for all the insanely awesome features, difficulty and continuity.

I say platinum,, (cause of graphics and better features)

I say crystal, I liked that one and the champion theme was epic to me.

I would say yellow because its the closest thing to blue on the list.
Other then that, blue version will always be with me!
It was the first video game i've played and there is no way of me getting rid of those memories!

You left out crystal, HG, SS, Fire red and leaf green.

Of ALL pokemon games, crystal holds the most nostalgia, and is my favorite.
Of the aforementioned, Platinum.

Pokemon Silver, for sure. Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire probably has the best plot, and Diamond/Pearl probably has the most features, but Pokemon Silver is just...awesome. The music is fantastic and it just has a special place in my heart.

Also my first Pokemon game.

Sapphire because it's:

- My first game
- Where I got my first female starter, which was also my first starter, a Treecko
- Where my first shiny was found and caught, a Wingull
- Where I caught my first legendary, a Kyogre
- The first game that I've actually beaten, down to the Battle Tower and the Contests
- Where my first lv 100 came from, my female Sceptile

And so on and so forth... Am I actually the first person to vote a 3rd gen game? O.O;

It's tough, but I think I'd have to say Emerald. I first learned Pokémon on Pokémon Yellow, so I love that game to (play it twice yearly on an emulator, and still have the original cart), and also enjoyed Crystal considerably, but Emerald was just a bit better.

Damn it! I knew I should've never put Platinum in there because the truth is... I DON'T HAVE PLATINUM!!!

I voted for Emerald... 3rd generation were the glory days for me.

I feel this is a very poorly designed poll. Anway, I voted for sapphire. My first game (Sort of) I loved it so much.

I would pick yellow (red if possible) for many reasons.
1. It was my first game.
2. It is a great classic.
3. It is the easiest and most fun to hack!
4. Without it being great, none of the other games would exist.

I like Silver the most. Lugia, good storyline, 16 badges, and Dark and Steel is introduced.

Gold, mainly because of its interface with Stadium 2, GSC, and RBY.

I like pokemon yellow game because It was my first game & It is a great classic.
I have this game many time with my friends.

Currently, SoulSilver.
But according to the poll, i'd have to pick Platinum.

My personal favorite is green, but it never released is America.

Mine is SoulSilver but I have to follow the Poll so I pick Gold since Johto is my favorite Region and Gold is my favorite Second Gen game :3
