A lot of people have different hair length preferences ranging from long, short, middle, or buzz. I myself like to have my hair on the long side, but what about you guys? How long do you prefer to have your hair at?

I like my hair to be extremely short, like no more than half an inch from my scalp. It would be great if I could get my hair cut every week or so, but I can't and I have to live with annoying curly hair.

I have had buzz cut before, but I like middle the most (if my haircut is actually considered middle).

Here's what my hair usually looks like, and is it considered middle or short?

I usually keep my hair cut short, but here in the recent months I've been growing it out. I'll keep it to my shoulders for a while, see how I like it. If I don't, I'll go surprise my barber.

At the moment my hair is just medium-length, but I like to keep it medium-long; around shoulder length.

I don't like keeping long hair, so I tend to have my hair to be somewhere between short and medium-length. Long hair gets in the way every single morning, as I've noticed.

Fees for barbers, though? Mmm, it's just a monthly one-time expense.

Now my hair is very short now
but actually..one time I hadn't gotten my hair cut for 6 Months and it became a 4-5 inch Afro...

Having tried all of them I can safely say I like my hair short-middle, if that makes any sense

If it's any longer it just gets annoying and uncontrollable, but any shorter and it looks really bad.

I keep mine short. Just short enough so that if I spike it up a bit, when it comes back down it doesn't look so out of place.


It's just an excuse so I don't have to comb.

Short. If the front part of my hair grows past my eyebrows, I get irritated at the length.

I always get it cut around the time it gets to my eyebrows.

What's with all the short-haired folks? I have generally long hair...you know...for a guy, anyways. True, it does get a little irritating, but short hair...well, let's just say that short hair looks really bad on me, so I prefer to keep it a little long.

I hate having curly hair, as it forces me to keep it no longer than about two inches.

I keep my hair fairly short. I always want to trim it some once my hair begins to get in my eyesight. For some reason, that has always bugged me.

I personally keep my hair on the long side. Actually, the way I have it now is the longest I've ever had it. It's a few inches passed shoulder-length right now.

It's all really dependent on your definition of long. I consider anything that is long enough to the eye brows is long. Anything to the mid forehead is medium. Anything longer then a buzz cut but smaller then the medium is short.
To someone else, all these could mean something else entirely.

For myself, I definitely prefer to have long hair! Super long hair! I've been growing it out for over 5 years. (Though you do have to keep in mind that I'm a girl, so long hair is anything but uncommon.) From the top of my head to the tip of my longest strand, my hair is nearly 2 feet long, and quite the pain to brush. (And don't even get me started on the amount of shampoo.)

I haven't measured my hair in over two years so I'm just gonna guess...

... 18 inches maybe?
Regardless, I'd rather have long hair over short hair. Short hair makes me look stupid. It's grown to the point where people can't picture me with short hair though.

I'm in exactly the same boat. People have no idea what I would look with short hair. Frankly, I no longer remember how I look with short hair. I haven't had short hair since elementary school over a decade ago. xD

I look like I'm apart of a particular organization when I have a buzz cut.

I get constant haircuts, and I keep my hair short. Definitely not buzz cut short, but I keep it at a good length. I can't grow my hair long even if I wanted to, my school doesn't allow long hair....
