Anyway welcome to VR! What do you like about Pokemon? The games itself? (Since you like to battle and raise Pokemon) Do you also like watching Pokemon anime? The reason why I love Pokemon is the combination of both anime and video games.

Of course, it's my favorite opening.

The games, at least to me, have been enjoyable since Yellow, and I don't see myself stopping any time soon.
I do still watch the show a bit, though not too often, although I ALWAYS watched the show as a kid. However, I'll rarely be seen without my 3DS in my pocket.
