I hate laptops. It's mostly the awkward position of the keyboard and those stupid trackpads.

But, that's about all I don't like.

Yes, that is enough for me to hate them.

Indeed, I do have a laptop. Yet, its charger has a break in the joint and may be faulty at times.

You can probably get that replaced, though.

Well, here's how I see it.

I want a laptop, and I'm on a desktop right now. If I got a laptop, it'd certainly be much better than the outdate desktop I'm on. However, if one is technically savvy, one can upgrade and expand the use of their desktops, and do so with greater ease than they could with laptops. So I'm on the fence about getting one, but if I do it'll definitely be a Macbook. I might keep my desktop around and fix it up. Somehow.

I have a laptop. Well, I did until it spontaneously stopped working. It can boot up Windows fine (though it takes a while), and then Windows Explorer stops working and I'm left with a black screen with a mouse. Useless, eh?

Indeed I do! I got it for Christmas, and at first I was tentative about the keyboard, but now regular keyboards feel strange to me! I don't much care for the touch pad though, so I bought a mouse for it (which is about half the size of a regular mouse).

I'm surprised I haven't replied to this yet. Then again, I haven't been active on quite a few boards.

Anyway, I use a laptop all the time. It's close to three years old now, but it has been good to me. However, I prefer to connect an external mouse and, if possible, a keyboard, monitor, and speakers to give me the whole desktop feel of it while at home. It's just so much more comfortable sitting back in a chair using a keyboard without the monitor being attached to it. Then I can just disconnect the peripherals and take it on the go.
