Funny thing, Microsoft for some reason decided to just run this... campaign of sorts. They want you to try out Bing and Google at the same time, using the same search results, and figure out how it is to you.

For what's its worth...

I did it and I got 4 : 1. Google won. For the things I searched it was all really clear. So I am still a solid googler.

This doesn't seem blind enough, though, especially on that Halo 4 one where it was very clear. (It's also clear that a people hate Microsoft and Google for completely different reasons. Internet Explorer and YouTube are prime targets for each.)


Also, they should keep this up but turn it into a proper site. It actually makes a very nice search aggregator, as you get about 1.4 times as many results on your screen at once using two different engines without looking messy like Dogpile.

I got 2 wins for each and a draw. The only difference I notice is that Google gives me more links to social networking pages about what I'm searching, like Mouse on Mars's Twitter and Facebook when I look up Mouse on Mars. Also, Bing cheats

And if you're choosing the result based on layout, you're doing it wrong, just as a note. Because I'm not familiar with the layout, I've noticed that my choices are a bit... Haphazard.
