I hate Twilight.

I should watch twilight, though. Then people won't be able to scream "U NO NOTING BOUT TEH SEREEZ" at me, since I then would.

I don't want to watch/read the Twilight series when I found out that vampires have sparkling chests. That's just more reason for the dudes to keep their shirts ON, yet there's apparently a bunch of rabid secks scenes in the books/movies that are really pointless.

I've read the book and I can clearly say:

I've heard some stories of people forced to watch New Moon. They all shared one characteristic: they kept cracking up and annoying the fangirls.

Personally, I think making a Twilight sucks thread is pointless. It's like making a Sarah Palin sucks thread. It should be so obvious to anybody with the slightest bit of intelligence that talking about it really only brings you down.

No, not always, sometimes we like danger but that is really sissy danger.

Another thing I hate about it is that the series is compared to Harry Potter so many times. Why? Harry Potter's got to do with magic in general, not just two species of monster. As a matter of fact, vampires are only brought up like, twice. And the story's definitely a lot more intricated and detailed than Twilight's.

Both had female authors
Both were made into movies
Both deal with magic
Both have werewolves
Both have a large fanbase
Both have a large hate group(People held HP book-burning ceremonies, stating that HP was the work of the devil and against the bible. They were parents, of course.)

And the guy who plays Edward in Twilight also played Cedric Diggory.

After seeing all the hate Twilight gets on the internet, I'm thinking it has a fanbase of zero... but it doesn't. I hear people saying good things about it at school so often.

I don't like twilight either, the good news is the movie might win the award for worst picture this year though.
