I've been away from Victory Road since September 2, 2010. Next month, my absence would be a full two years. A testament to just how steadfast this site has been.

As you can see, I did quite a bit of posting then but eventually just fell off due to school. However, I've always thought of this site as the go-to resource for a friendly, open community that's always up-to-date on the Pokemon fandom. It was only a matter of time until I would return. ^^

I never did manage to get those 100 posts to get rid of the ads. ._.

That being said...I recognize a few people here and there. I remember the drawing threads, I remember gym battles at one point, I remember the Arcade fondly...These pokepet things are kind of different, aren't they...? But I haven't been around for a while.

Anyone willing to give me a rundown of any other new things that were added? What's the most popular thing going on? What happened to the old chatroom client- does that work anymore or exist?

I could've sworn I've seen you at least once before. I, too, took a long absence from VR, but I came back too (if it wasn't obvious enough by me posting here). As for what's new - the Gym League shut down and is reopening soon and the adopts have been changed from Victory Battles to the Adoption Center. Those are the two biggest changes to VR. There are some other smaller changes, but I'm sure you'll figure them out as you go.

Glad to see you're back and I hope you decide to stick around for awhile.

@Quadcentruo : YOU!!!!!!! I USED TO GET IN ARCADE SCORE COMPETITIONS WITH YOU BEFORE THE ARCADE WAS REALLY NOTICED. I remember putting messages in back and forth taunting you when either of us beat the other. Eventually I couldn't keep up and you took all my trophies. xD You're a moderator now, congratulations! (probably very late)
