If your a fan of the super smash series (SSB), you will know that the names got progressively more aggressive (ugh, big words
) as the series went on.
I'm starting to think, if nintendo decides to make a new SSB game, what would it be called?
Super Smash Bros. Destruction?
or maybe
Super Smash Bros. Thrash?
In Japan, they never tacked on Melee or Brawl. It was DX and X. They were referred to as "Great Fray Smash Brothers."
Melee usually refers to a small battle between one or two people, possibly referring to the roster size. Brawl is like a big fight between a group of people, another reference to the roster size and possibly to the use of WiFi.
The next Smash will probably have an insane character roster from more third party games, and more Nintendo characters. It'll be a War. Super Smash Brothers War. Wonder what the Japanese title will be.

I think they're running out of good synonyms for "fight." Couldn't they just tack a four on and call it good?
