It seems that the John de Lancie (voice of Discord) has teamed with Michael Brockhoff in the production of a documentary of the BronyCon (an MLP convention). As of now, the Kickstarter campaign has raised 25% of the required $60,000.

$20,000! Wow, this is definitely gonna hit $60k. A better question than asking if it will would be: how much will this project make? $100k? $200k?

..... Wow, someone just donated $10,000! At the time of this post, the current total is very close to 40,000. 2/3 of the way there not even in two full days: Rainbow Dash is proud!

The number's going up fast! I wouldn't be surprised to see it hit 60K by the end of tomorrow. It might even go over!
And if not tomorrow, I can bet it'll be there by Friday.

At this rate, it's gonna be a half million when it's over. Of course, less people will feel inclined to donate as the number goes up, but I definitely think it can reach a quarter million.

Thanks to a nice donation of $5000, we have officially made it to the $60,000 mark! Not even a full three days and the goal was already met, amazing how much the brony community can come together for projects such as this. With still 24 days to go, one wonders how far this will reach.

Micheal has talked with the $10k backer. Apparently, the pledge is very much real. It's too bad he wishes to remain anonymous, though if he is included as producer in credits he won't be for long.

Already reached 71K, and we're still so many days from our "Goal." I wonder what they'll do with all the extra money.

They already answered that:

That sounds great. I still wish I could at least contribute some of my pocket change lying around. I might even plan to go to Bronycon, but considering my "Secret brony(FAN. Not brony)" status, I might not be able to get a ride.

Ooh, there's a new goal to make it 20% cooler: $100,000.

They now have outlined more specific goals for folks they plan to interview as well. Man, I kinda wish I could go to this convention.

Yet another new goal! $200,000 this time, but there's a bonus now: Tara Strong and Lauren Faust will be executive producers for the documentary, and there are new rewards.

With 8 days left, it jumped to $173,866 $183,866 because someone JUST apparently donated 10k.

With 37 hours remaining, we are currently at $272,916 (not including PayPal, which as of two days ago was at $18k). I'm willing to bet this will be at $300k by the time it is done.

Jeez, that's $100k more than I second-chance predicted at $250k. (My original was around $150k.)

Anyway, six people donated $10,000, and 27 more donated at least $1,000. I wish I had that kind of money to throw around.

2nd most funded of all time? Wow, nice job! I can't wait to see the outcome of this marvel.
