Heya, everypony. I need a little bit of help with something. I've been working to divide up the episodes into "character collections." These are groups of episodes that focus mainly on a single character.

In the case of Friendship is Magic, these categories are each of the "mane" six characters, Spike, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders. I also have a category for "everypony," which is for episodes that focus on new characters that equally affect most of the mane six or that focus on most of the mane six evenly. Each episode can only belong to a single category.

I'm pretty evenly split between Rarity and Applejack.

1-13 Fall Weather Friends
I'm leaning slightly towards Rainbow Dash, as she learned more of a lesson than Applejack.

1-17 Stare Master
I'm leaning slightly towards the CMC here for the same reason as Fall Weather Friends.

Any help? Is anything in the wrong place?

Pretty sure this was a Twilight episode, since she was the one with the Problem of the Week.

MMMystery seemed more like a Pinkie episode since she was the one with the cake.

The season 1 premieres' seemed more like everypony episodes since everyone was introduced and characterized.

LBYS is a tough one; AJ and Rarity both seem to be the emphasis. Maybe just put it in both?

Stare Master should be a CMC episode due to them learning the lesson, and also because chickens.

Also, where's Cutie Mark Chronicles? It's not anywhere on the list, and it should be an Everypony episode.

I agree, MMMystery started with Pinkie, ended with Pinkie, revolved mainly around Pinkie, and she learned the lesson.
Friendship is Magic is more everypony than it is Twilight.
Canterlot Wedding centered most around Twilight from the mane six, but it technically is really about Cadence and SA.
Stare Master is totally Cutie Mark Crusaders...as much as I love Fluttershy...
Loving these organization skills, by the way.

The first season pilot was an introduction to the show, but Twilight was the MAIN main character.
The second one really revolves around all of them equally.
New Info: Rainbow Dash's cocky attitude and cheating ways when she starts to lose make is seem like Fall Weather Friends is more about her.
At the end of Look Before You Sleep, Applejack takes notice of Rarity's "Annoying attention to detail," apologizes, and even asks her to please help the mess she made. I think this one belongs to Applejack. (Because other than that moment, it looks evenly divided)

Alright, I've updated the first post. I don't entirely want to split any of the two-part episodes and would rather just consider them one episode each.

I can't wait for season 3 to be over. I hope there are a lot more Fluttershy episodes to satisfy me with. Time to run through the current Fluttershy ones over and over and over...

Well, of course. They can't focus on one pony too often, as they can only fit 26 episodes in a single season.

Hm, that was surprisingly easy. Unless a new category (like "Secondary Characters") is added, I don't think there's much leeway for arguing on these. Such a category might actually make it harder to categorize some of them.
