Talk about what prospective technological inventions that you simply can't wait to be real. Share some cool devices in video games and movies that you think, "Holy crap, I'd love to have one of those."
Something I'd really like to see is the technology to transfer someone's thoughts directly into tangible data. I've seen in the news about those gadgets with the electrodes that you put on your head and it tries to show pictures of what you're thinking. That stuff's pretty cool, but rather than being able to look into people's heads, I want to be able to just think up songs and the device will translate that into a musical score into some program. Or think about a picture and all of a sudden, there it is on a digital canvas. It would certainly eliminate the burden of clicking around or drawing for hours and instead directly convert your imagination into art or data. Or maybe make a video recording of my dreams.
On a more mundane note, I can't wait to see how stopping and even reversing aging works out.
At the moment, there's really only one thing I want to get done soon. Specifically, by the year 2015.

3 – GalliumGrant, NismoZ, Dark Sonic

And theoretically it could be possible with the current technology, but it'd be seriously expensive (given the price of LED televisions, I would say about $6000 to cover a single moderately-sized window). It could be bright enough to effectively provide daylight at night, and if you network it you could download other people's backdrops to give yourself any sort of scenery, even in an office cubicle.
Phase Distorter(If you can't guess that, play Earthbound)
Time Stop pocket watch!
Something that flies other than planes like cars or bikes.
Holographic books with moving images.
Maid robots.
Geno in Smash Bros. or any other game.
Something that can play all games from memory(NO DISK SCRATCHING!) but is a pencil in appearance.
