Not sure who around here plays Terraria, but the developer, Redigit, has announced that he will no longer be developing Terraria beyond a final patch and possibly some bugfixes.

You mean "discontinued" as in "no longer available for purchase" or "no more patches after this last one"?
I'm assuming the latter of the two because it wouldn't exactly be fair to those who haven't had the ability to purchase Terraria and then it suddenly is no longer available to buy.
Nonetheless, it is a bit sad to see Terraria no longer being worked on.
