Well, I'm going to be adding new pets, but many of your suggestions are not from games with sprites. Who here is willing to create sprites for new pets, even original pets? I'm not asking for any specifics yet; I'm just curious who is interested?

If you do create sprites for VRAC, you grant non-exlusive and irrevocable usage rights within the Victory Road Network, including, but not limited to, Victory Road, Victory Road Adoption Center, and Floatzel.Net. You still retain copyrights for any original characters.



In other words, while you can request us to remove your sprites, we are not required to if you do submit them.

It sounds fun and interesting. But if I am hired I want you to know I might have to quit. I bet there are better people here. But I can try.

I have experience with making original before but they weren't that difficult. And I have sprited for a really long time so I can probably do this.

cause theres the possibility youll hire a great spriter who makes run-of-the-mill recolors

also, im not cat here, but most, if not all, custom pets will require scratching, i assume

Here are a few I'll likely add that don't have sprites:
- Creeper (Minecraft, probably something that looks 3D, I might do this one myself)
- Doctor Who
- Rainbow Dash (My Little Pony)
- Toilet paper
- Zoidberg (Futurama)

For the recolor fans:
- Zoroark-colored Cyndaquil (Zoroquil), Quilava (Zorlava), and Typhlosion (Zorlosion)


Anything that already has sprites shouldn't have problems, and please do not steal anyone's sprites!

I am pretty good at recolors too. But if I am going to do one thing, another would be hard to handle.

I'm gonna recommend a program I found while browsing the internet a few days.

The original software is Japanese, but when you download it, it'll be in english.
GraphicsGale is a program tailored to sprite artists, and many of it's features are for sprite artists only. I love the interface, and the simplicity of it all, but the one thing that's weird about it is that you can't open up .gif formats in it.

The best part about it, aside from all the awesome features it has to offer, is the fact that it's free.

All right, here's my attempt at a Rainbow Dash sprite:

It's a work in progress, as it still needs shading, and I'm gonna touch up a few details around the eye. (Not to mention the colouring of the tail is messed up...)
