All 10 3DS Ambassador GBA games revealed - Available from Dec 16 in Japan - NeoGAF

Yup. And that accidental leak from that NoA email... one confirmed, one out.

F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Metroid Fusion
Wario Land 4

What do you guys think of it?

They'll be coming Dec 16 for Japanese systems. $5 says that the rest of the world will get the same (all games listed are released worldwide) in Thursday or next Thursday.

A game in which you must trade with another version to complete, yet only one version exists.

I see why Nintendo would've been reluctant to do this. I'm not expecting any main-series Pokémon games to be ported to the 3DS soon.

Why would trading be so necessary?
I can imagine most people probably go through most of there games without it.
The fact that there's only one version doesn't really matter.

If Nintendo were do release it, they're pretty much be saying "Here's a game, oh, but you can't actually complete it.". Yes, it will be mostly playable, but with a feature missing that prevents the Pokédex being completed it's hardly going to be well received. Not to mention the whole multiplayer aspect of Pokémon wouldn't work unless Nintendo re-wrote the networking code.

Yeah. The Ambassador releases seem to not be emulated but instead run using DS hardware, hence no access/simulation of communications hardware.

When the real releases, if they come out, come out, they should ship with full emulation - that is, multiplayer is emulated in full, instead of not being emulated at all.
