A Full hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, with tons of Features, Brand New Levels, Playable Characters, and more.

Storyline:

Spoiler Alert:

One Day, after the defeat of Dr'Eggman by the hands of Sonic. Eggman decided to build a Power Armor sult based off EggRobo and travel to Mobius to capture Sonic and Tails by sending them into a Cosmic portal to trap them, but luckily, Tails escaped. he knew that Sonic is missing and he decided to sneak into Eggman's HQ and grab the parts of Eggman's robots and pieces. Tails later go to his home in the Mystic Ruins and created a new robot, based off Metal Sonic classic model, Codename: METAL. with the ability to feel and behave almost exactly like Sonic, with a special move to directly Jumpdash in any direction, and Walljump through unreachable places. Tails was able to track Eggman to where hes heading by using his Radar, so Tails send Metal Sonic to Resort Isle, where Eggman was heading to. in hopes to find Sonic and Destory Dr'Eggman once and for all.



Eggman later decided to create a mystic portal into other worlds to make his Egg Empire bigger then before,

sending his robots to Kirby, Somari, and Darkon's Worlds attempting to destroy everything in its Path.

the madness has just begun.

HINTS:

How to get the Chaos Emeralds?: 

After grabbing 50 or more Rings into the Signpost, Jump into the Giant Ring, you will automaticity gain 1 Emerald, useful for getting the secret ending.



How to become SUPER Sonic?:

Get all Chaos Emeralds and press Up + A with 50 Rings to transform, only METAL can become Super.

Note:
Patch to a Sonic the Hedgehog REV00 (one with no moving clouds) rom
with ".bin" as the extension, or else, it may not work.

Oh, an IPS. Very nice; we don't want any sort of ROM's being distributed on VR, we'd rather not deal with being considered a piracy site.

I can tell that the Hack has had a lot of work done on it and I applaud the entire team for working on it. However, what forum are the people mentioned from? Or are they just a group of unknown's on this site lurking secretly?

My guess is that they're from SSRG, seeing as how GalliumGrant reconizes them, and he's also a member there.

Some people in it are from Sonic Retro, SSRG, Retrohack, and Youtube.
I mostly work on this myself, since I'm the only person that's been working on the source since Last year of March when I lost my internet till I got a new PC for Xmas, and still working on it, till now.

Vladikcomper, HCKTROX, MarkeyTheJester and Selbi are on the
Sonic Stuff Research Group. As of now I only see about 3 out of
four members on this site.

Tweaker is on Sonic Retro, hopefully working on Sonic Megamix
with his hacking team.

As far as I know, I am not aware of where CS and Yuski, Quricodoido, GHFusion, Mercury, and Esrael are nowadays.

MarkeyTheJester and Tweaker are LEGENDS. Markey even made a
homebrew ROM on the Megadrive.

Anyways, that should expand on what Darkon told you. None
of these guys are from around here, which I'm sure you established.

Yep.

btw, I'm waiting for people who will do tons of Walkthroughs or LPs for this hack. the extra characters like Somari or Kirby are another reason why they should, you know, I didn't make this work for nothing. :>
