Holy samurott sushi! No wonder everyone calls Natural N! What an unusual name for a kid. I just never see a kid walk into a school with a name tag that says, Hi I'm Natural! Best that we just call him N still.

I think the deal is that he's supposed to be the saviour of modern Pokémon or something, so his name is all 'Oh hai I'm basically Jesus so let me help all yalls' but them it's like 'Oh hai my personality is all grimdark and misleading and I'm actually tearing you apart ~~Lisa~~ emotionally, LOL'

Well, If I didn't know any better, I'd say that'd be the name of a
nerdy hippie.

And yes, I'd imagine that for females,
the name Gropius would be very disturbing.

Interesting stuff nonetheless. I kinda wanna mock his name though.

I think this is one of the weirdest names in video games, not just Pokémon... I wonder what they were thinking? But it does make a lot of sense.

Seems like the "Gropius" part is actually based of someone in real life...

Yeah, I'm also inclined to believe that revealing this information is not just for the sake of getting to know N. I hope they're going to incorporate this into the next (main) title.

The name is actually all one word, all meaning "Natural" in two other different languages as well as English.
